Chapter 1 - Rescued

I wake up on an early morning as the sunbeams illuminates my face which is full of scars. For a sudden moment I don't know where I am - until I remember everything again.

I sigh in frustration. That has been happening for a while now and it truly is annoying. However, as I look around the room, I see Dr. Ziegler at her desk. She is apparently doing some paper work and hasn't noticed that I'm awake.

It has been about a month since I was rescued from Japan. Right now I'm at Overwatch Headquarters in Switzerland. And yes - I have to sleep in my hospital quarters //Idk if that's even a word lol\\ to be sure of my condition.

Dr. Ziegler wants to monitor me carefully just in case if something unwanted happens. I'm very thankful of that, maybe even a little flattered.
I'll get my own room from the Overwatch agent's quarters in next month if all goes well. And that's a good thing because Dr. Ziegler looks pretty tired. Now when I think about it her eyes looks very tired. But still, she has beautiful eyes. And beautiful fa...
Wait. What did I just think?

Then I come to reality from my thoughts and find myself staring at Dr. Ziegler. I turn my head away just in perfect time because she looks at me, notices I'm awake and stands up.
"Genji! You're awake. Good morning." she says. "Good morning, Doctor Ziegler" I answer as she comes to me for a little checkup. She does it every Monday for now. I rise to sit //hopefully this is right\\ on my bed and fortunately this checkup doesn't take a long time.

"Everything is well for now. You can go for some breakfast." she says with a slightly exhausted smile on her face and goes back to her desk to write some notes. I nod and get to the door. I'm still a bit cautious with my new body but Dr. Ziegler says it'll fade away eventually.

I see her looking at me mouth opened ready to say something but I'm faster. "And I'll contact you if something happens." I say with a little triumphant smile on my face. She continues her job smiling and shakes her head, maybe because of my smile.

But she won't see my face anymore because I always cover it if I go somewhere else than this room. I feel very uncomfortable if someone or everyone can see my face. And I always put my mask on if someone else than Dr. Ziegler comes to this room. It doesn't bother me if Dr. Ziegler sees it, I've got used to it. I had to get used to it.
