I woke up and just wanted to go back to sleep again. I barely slept the night! Okay, it might seem crazy, but I was thinking about Max. Yeah, Phoebe told me, he has a girlfriend, but why was he teasing me so much? I kinda liked him, but I wasn't sure... 'Shut up Hazel', I said to myself as I searched for something to wear.

*Later*

I waited outside. My brother wanted to walk with Max and Phoebe and her little siblings. Until now, I didn't even know Phoebe had another two siblings. He rang the doorbell and Phoebe opened the door, smiling. She took her bag and came outside, followed by a little boy and a girl. "Hey, I'm Billy and this is Nora. You have to be Hazel. Nice to meet you.", Billy said, shaking my hand. I laughed a bit. He was cute! As Phoebe shut the door, I looked a little bit confused. "What?", Phoebe said. "Uhm... where's Max?", I said embarrassed. Phoebe didn't smile anymore, she said with an empty look: "I don't know. He is probably already in school. Kissing with Tara." Oh. I nodded and we head over to school.

*School*

We were about to enter when I said: "Phoebe you can go to our class, I have something to check with Jason." She nodded and was gone with Billy and Nora. "What's up?", Jason asked. "She is it right? Nora's the girl you like!", I softly smiled at my little brother. He sighed: "Yep... she won't ever like me, or?" Aww Jason was such a sweetheart! And a little bit blind to see...: "Are you kidding me? She looked at you, all the way to school! She does like you! And now hurry up to your class, we'll talk later." Jason widely smiled and gave me a kiss on my cheek. I smiled and turned to go to school, when I accidentally bumped into someone: "I'm so sorry!", I said as I say who I bumped into. Tara. She looked at me in disgust: "You're Hazel, right?" I nodded. "Okay, listen here you little btch. If I see you flirting with Max again, you'll get a nasty surprise. Watch it, Collins!" She turned and walked a bit away, as I started to laugh. I really laughed my soul out! She wouldn't hurt me or something like that. But I was so wrong. She turned and walked right to me. She raised her fist and punched me right onto my cheekbone. "Watch it, Collins!", she said angrily, walking away. But I was just sitting on the ground, holding my cheek in pain. It was burning so much! I looked at the ground, crying as I found someone walking towards me. Miss Parker. "Hazel! What happened to your cheekbone? It's all blue and violet! Did someone punch you? You can tell me..." I shook my head: "I'm alright Miss Parker, thanks. Can I just go to my class and pretend nothing happened?" "But Hazel..", Miss Parker started. I just shook my head and we walked to class.

*Max' POV*

Miss Parker wanted to search for Hazel. It was weird, cause I thought she would never be late? 10 Minutes later, Miss Parker came back, with Hazel. Her hair was in her face and she slowly walked to me. Only now I saw it. Her cheekbone was blue and violet. "Hazel? What happened?", I tried to whisper. But she didn't answer. She didn't even look at me! What's wrong..? "Hazz? C'mon tell me.. I thought we're friend now?" And then, she turned towards me. Her eyes looked sadly and angrily at once. "Do you know what wrong is? Your maniac girlfriend!" What? I looked confused... Yeah she said maniac to my girlfriend, but I wasn't mad at Hazel. And that was scary. "What did she do?", I asked, expecting the worst. "She came up to me and told me I have to keep distance with you. I thought it was an empty threat, so I laughed. Then she came back and punched me. And don't think I'm a poor little girl who can't defend herself, cause I can if I want to, trust me." Hazel turned away.

*After School*

I waited outside her classroom. As the bell rang, the door opened and she came first. "Hey Babyyy how are you?", Tara asked, trying to kiss me. But I turned away: "Tara... I think it's not working out between us... I think, we should take time to overthink everything an- " She interrupted me: "Are you trying to split up with me?!?! It's just because of this stupid btch Hazel, am I right??!? Oh, she will get the shock of her life..." I was shocked. I never saw Tara acting like this: "And that's what I mean! Lately you act so different, so mean! Yeah, it was kinda attractive but now??!? You go over the top Tara!! Have a good life, bye!" I turned and walked away. I didn't want to see her anymore.

*At home*

"Yep, that's it!", I explained Dr Colosso. "I never liked Tara anyway!", he replied. I nodded. "What will you do now?", he asked after a while. I laid down on my bed: "I don't now... Phoebe kinda forbid me to become friends with Hazz. I'll find a way, anyway..."

*Hazels POV*

"Have fun!", I said to my brother. He was meeting Nora at her house to play. It was so cute! I closed the door and sat down on the couch. I reached out my finger and a bowl of popcorn from the kitchen flew over to me. "Hazel! I thought we're trying to avoid to use our superpowers?", Mom yelled from the kitchen. "I know, but sometimes it's just so useful!", I shouted back. It was really useful to have superpowers. And I love it, to have them.
