I got home from school. I was ready for what I was about to do. Maya followed me into my room and I was very confused. She said "I'm going to hang out with Meredith today and explain everything, toodles!". She left closing my door. I decided on hanging myself. I put my hair in a messy bun. I put on a pair of black leggings and a Christmas sweater because Christmas is my favorite holiday and it was close.I got a rope out of the garage and hung it over the top of my loft. I was writing the note "there is so many things I'd like to live for but u fortunately everything I want to live for will never happen. I hate life. I hate getting bullied. I hate that the ones I love don't love me." I signed it "mckenna ross:)". I heard a knock at the door. I opened it to see Grayson dolan. Grayson said "can I come in" I said "sure I guess" Grayson asked me if we could go to my room (he wanted to apologize) I was panicked and so I blurted out "NO" he started to get curious and walked up to my room. Shit, he saw everything. "MCKENNA WHAT IS THIS" he screamed. I immediately broke into sobs as I didn't know what to do. He hugged me so hard and I felt so protected. But I shouldn't, no, I shouldn't feel protected by the boy who shattered my heart into 2 pieces exactly one year ago on this very day. He hugged me and I sobbed into his shirt. He rubbed my back and told me everything would be ok. I knew everything wouldn't be ok. He asked me "why would you want to do this to yourself babe". I was squealing in my head at the thought that grayson had just called me babe. I started to explain everything. "Nothing in my life goes right. Grayson haven't you noticed I get bullied. No one wants to sit next to me at lunch. My mom is dead. My dad is always on business trips. My sister doesn't give two shits about me. Grayson can't you tell no one gives a shit about me. I'm ugly. My only friends, you and Ethan left me so they could be popular. The guy I love doesn't love me. I'm all alone. It would be better if I were dead. No one would care or notice." I cried. Grayson was shocked and said nothing he just padded my head. He stopped and put his hand on my cheek and said "but don't you see kenna, I care about you" and he kissed me. I kissed back. At this moment everything was perfect I forgotten about all of my problems. The warmth his lips provided were amazing. I loved it and I loved him.

I had kissed kenna. I wanted to for the longest time and now I actually did it. She kissed back I guess I was the love who didn't love her back she was talking about.

Mckennas p.o.v

I spoke "then why would you leave me?" as I continued to sob. "Because I knew I would break your heart. I knew I wasn't good enough" I sat there shocked. He asked me if I wanted to sleep over his house I cried "sure".

Grayson drove me to his house. During every red light he stared at me it was weird.

I couldn't help but stare at mckennas beauty. How dare she call herself ugly. She is the most beatiful thing I've ever seen. I know I don't show my Love well but I love her a lot. I guess I thought I was playing hard to get but she never knew.

We walked into graysons house and Lisa greeted me. "Hey sweetie haven't seen you in a while what's up?" "Oh just hanging out" I giggled at my weird yet hilarious joke. Grayson said "we're going to go up to my room" "ok" Lisa giggled, I hope she didn't get the wrong idea. Grayson told me to lay down on his bed I thought it was weird but I did it. He layed down next to me and pulled out his mackbook. Putting on my favorite movie, "The Titanic". I smiled because Grayson remembered. We cuddled all night. It was amazing. I woke up to Grayson holding on to my hand. I guess he was trying to make sure I wouldn't get up and do something I would regret. Grayson dropped me off at school we walked out holding hands. I'm not sure what Grayson was trying to do. I walked down the hall and since me and Grayson had first block (gym) together we walked to gym together.
