Zane's POV

Don't show emotion.

Hearing a scream, I looked from the kitchen to the living room to see Laurance with a shocked look.

Sighing, I got up and ran to where I heard the scream sound from. Garroth's room...

Opening his door, I saw him sitting up with tears running down his face. Holding his hand, I stared into his eyes as his breathing began to slow down.

Moving his hair from his face, I hugged him as Laurance stared at us in confusion.

"It's fine. Just a nightmare. You can leave Little Laurance." I spoke as his eyes never left Garroth. "Leave. I'll speak to him."

Nodding, Laurance left as I pulled out of the hug and caressed his cheek.

"I'm... I'm fine Zane." Garroth spoke as he coughed.

"Garroth... You never told me what happened that night... When are you going to trust me? Trust us." I spoke as I raised my eyebrow at him.

Sighing, he got up and glared at me.

"I'm never... Going to speak about that day. I'm sorry, but it's personal." He spoke as he left the room, holding his arms.

Garroth's POV

"I'm never.... Going to speak about that day. I'm sorry, but it's personal." I spoke as Zane looked at me disappointed.

Walking down the stairs, I ran into Laurance as he smiled at me. Smiling back, I went into the kitchen as he followed.

"So, what happened?" He asked as I grabbed a cup and filled it with water.

"Nothing." I spoke briefly as I drank the water. Shaking his head, he gave me a small smile as Zane ran down the stairs.

"Don't lie to me. You screamed, there has to be a reason." He accused as I closed my eyes.

"Fine. The scream was for something that happened exactly 13 years ago. No one knows what happened, except for me and I don't want to talk about it." I spoke as Laurance nodded.

"Garroth. I know I was too young to remember, but I know certain things." Zane spoke as I looked away and drank the rest of my water.

"You know nothing. And it should stay that way." I glared as I walked away.

"I'm calling Vylad over. Please consider telling us..." Zane spoke softly as I shook my head, walking back to my room.

It's been 3 hours since I've been in my room and so far, I've given 4 cuts to myself and played a round of Mario Cart 8.

Bored, I wandered downstairs to see my little brothers and Laurance talking about something.

"Garroth. Sit down, now." Vylad demanded as I rolled my eyes and did as told. "Tell us. We'll understand, we aren't kids anymore."

"Can't we just drop it?" I spoke as Vylad bit his lips. Looking at Zane, he shook his head as I raised an eyebrow.

"Garte is visiting tomorrow..." Vylad spoke as Zane nodded.

"No, no, no, no. I-I need more time. I-I can't." I stuttered as Laurance's eyes landed on me. Moving back, I tripped over the rug and fell to the ground.

Hissing, I stood up and stared at my brothers they played with their sleeves.

"Why do you want to know what happened to me anyways? I was supposed to protect you and look at the way we turned out!" I screamed at them, causing them to flinch as I took a deep breath. "Zane, you came in when it happened. I know you're not that dumb, use that brain of yours and come to a conclusion. When you think you found it, come and confirm it with me."

Before I could even take a step, Laurance wrapped his hand around my wrist causing me to wince in pain.

"Garroth, after his visit, you need to talk to everyone. We deserve to know what happened." Laurance demanded as I rolled my eyes.

"I..." Looking at Zane, I sighed as I saw the glare he was giving me. "Sure. Just... Leave me alone for tonight, ok?"

Nodding, he let go of my wrist as Vylad hugged me. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I hugged back and nuzzled my head into his neck while he rubbed my back.

Zane's POV

"Garte will be here in 10 minutes! Mom is coming too!" Vylad yelled as I rolled my eyes.

Running upstairs, I saw Garroth staring at himself in the mirror as he whispered things to himself. Patting his back, I looked him in the eyes and nodded.

"We've got this. Remember, don't say anything to Garte and if he speak... Don't answer." Garroth spoke to me as I gave him a small laugh and took his hand.

Hearing a knock on the door, Laurance answered it as all of us stared at the television.

"Zuzu! GarGar! Pea! My babies!" Mom cheered as she ran over and kissed our cheeks.

Arriving right behind her was Garte. Greyish blonde hair and dark cerulean blue eyes. Definitely our father.

"It's wonderful to see you again, Mummy." Garroth spoke as Garte scoffed earning a glare from Vylad.

"Garte, come say hi to the kids!" Mom spoke as Garte rolled his eyes and waved.

"Hello, children." Garte spoke as Garroth blankly stared at him.

"Ok, well where will be staying?" Mom asked as Garroth smiled.

"Vylad, can you see if there are any hotels close by?" Garroth asked as Vylad nodded.

"Wait. I was kind of wondering if we could stay at one of your places, so that we are close to you while we visit!" Mom asked as I walked over and rubbed her shoulders.

"Mom, maybe not? We don't want to heard you and Dad cuddling next to us. Besides I live with Garroth and Vylad has a loud roommate." I spoke as her eyes lit up.

"You and GarGar live together? Then maybe we can stay with you guys. Zane, you and Garroth could stay in the same room. It'll be like a slumber party!" Mom cheered as I shook my head. "Please Zuzu! I'll bake cupcakes!"

Looking over at Garroth, he nodded and smiled as I sighed.

"Ok, but how long are you staying here?" I asked as Mom smiled brightly at me.

"Only a week."
