Running in heels was not for everyone. That's what I learned on my first day of school.

The bell had just rung and battling against a stampede of high school students was impossible for anyone.

Walking pass door after door I finally came to a stop at the right class.

With a sigh I reluctantly opened the door and walked inside the classroom, silently hoping I didn't miss any important information.

Almost immediately all eyes were on me. Letting out a nervous smile I quickly walked to the teacher.

"Sorry for being tardy. I was getting my schedule." The words shot of my mouth into the teacher's ear.

Her eyes lit up in understand meant.

"You the new student right." She looked on her roster for my name.

"Jade Aiken." She asked for confirmation. Nodding my head in agreement, I scanned the class for a empty seat.

"Well you made it to the right class. You can seat right there behind Scott." She pointed to a boy with a uneven jaw.

Making my way down the aisle, the stares gradually went away.

The teacher cleared her throat garnering everyone's attention.

"Well Mrs.Aiken made it to the right class." She paused for dramatic effect.

"Who else believes their in the right class?" Majority of class raised their, while the rest shrugged their shoulders unsurely.

Mrs. Finch smirked.

"Then you would be prepared to take a test tomorrow." Her words started a chain reaction of groans and moans.

"Relax. This test is specifically designed to weed out the ones who shouldn't be in AP Biology." She pause to let her words take effect before continuing

"With all that said be ready." She ended with a click of her tongue.
