Chapter 1

Kayla's pov

"Kayla we have got to get ready we have a big day ahead of us."My sister  Kat said from my door way. It was currently 8:30am. We are going to a bands concert called "Why Don't We". They're a really good band. Now I'm a fan but I'm not a super fan.

I got dressed on a red and grey longsleve shirt and ripped jeans and red vans. I put on a little makeup . And grabbed my phone and my headphones and my bag and headed downstairs.

     I am currently in California with my sister. My aunt is here too. My parents aren't around because they're are in Africa helping animals. I will be here for the while year and it's almost Christmas... which means by next Christmas they should be back... I'm 17. I turn 18 in July .

I hope in Kats car and we drove to starbucks. I got my usual cotton candy frapiccino. We got our drink and headed out to LA. We live in Burbank ,CA so it was like 10 minutes tell we got to LA.

  This was the last stop on the why don't we boys tour before they go home to spend time with family. Anyway we had Vip tickets so we were at the front of the line with a group of girls. I'm not rich but I'm not poor.

They opened the doors for use 5 girls. We had to wait 10 minutes cause the guys were having their time to hangout. So to kill time we introduced ourselves to the other 3 girls.
"Hi, I'm Shelby " a short blonde said.
"Hi, I'm Lauren" a tallish brunette said.
"Hi, I'm Audrey" a shorter brunette said.
"Hi, I'm Kayla and this is my sister Kat." I said to the 3 girls. We took a few pictures together and then the boys were ready to meet us.

We walked into a room and there was video games , couches, food, and it was decorated to look like Christmas . Kat and I sat on the blue couch (the biggest one). Shelby, Lauren, & Audrey all sat in couch chairs.

Jack , zack, and Corbyn walked in smiling.
"Hey guys !" Jack,zach, and Corbyn said.

Jack kept looking at me and I smiled and said "Hi, I'm Kayla and this is my sister Kat" I said confidently with a smile at the end. Kat waved and smiled . The others introduced themselves and then Daniel & joanh came in said " it's ready" . The boys all said they would be right back.

   We were sitting there and last was humming and I knew the song she was humming so I started singing it in front of the girls.

"And when you pull me close
I learn which side of gravity needs me most.Attracted to your everything
I know there's more than what meets the eye.I'd walk, I'd run, I'd even learn to fly.Just to see you smile." I sang and everyone applauded. And the why don't we boys heard me. .. and clapped too...

I was in shock . Well they took us to a surprise.  It was a big photo shoot thing with them . I volunteered to go first cause yolo. I was standing there laughing at Kat dancing😂 and jack came up by me and hugged me and smiled for the pic😊. ( Jacks my favorite) we all got our pics and just sat around talking about ourselves and jack pulled me off to a different room.
" I don't usually do this but can I have your number?" Jack said.
  I smiled " Ya sure why not?" I said laughing a bit.
" you have a cute laugh " he said .
" thanks , you have a cute face." I said.
  He smiled and said " thanks".  "Wanna take a few pics?" He asked.
" sure".I said
We took a normal pic smiling and then a silly one and then I kissed him on the cheek in one .

We went back to the group . It was time for general admission to come . We went to our spots for the concert. The boys were meeting fans and stuff and I pulled Kat aside. " jack asked for my number??!! But don't tell anyone" I said excited.
" she smiled and said "ooooo cali boy likes you"
I laughed at her and just waited for the concert to start. We were listening to them sing and when they were singing " just to see you smile" jack looked me dead in the eye.  I smiled back at him.
