Natalie Pov

what was the guy here? I acted like I didn't see him around so he don't notice me but I guess that failed because I was the only person alone away from the crowds.

him: hey are you-

me: I was wondering the same you are..?

him: my name is cody the nephew of this family who getting married

me: " oh shit" i muttered quietly 

I looked shocked " wait what really?"

he giggled "yes and you are..?"

" I'm natalie and my family just knew your family somehow one story but yeah"

I gaze down not trying to look at him because he really looked into my eyes and I feel awkward..

"Wanna go for a walk?" he asked, girl his voice wasn't too deep or sneaky or anything but like a nice sweet tone 

as we walked I got some drinks cause I was thirsty until while I was taking a sip and my heels suddenly slipped for a minute and he hold onto me right on time. I swear what the fuck is going on today. I feel my cheeks burning because I'm embarrassed. He smiled  I can see his jawline ugh " you're actually cute when you're shy"

This made me feel even some type of ways..

As fast I could I tried to get back up like casual. " uh huh ha thanks"

I smiled and then we went to the guest area where we find spot to sit to see the bride and groom. I tried looking for my grandma I couldn't until I found her with a lady who I remembered seeing before a few month back.

"Is that your grandma?"

cody questioned " oh yes you're right"

He went up to my grandma and greeted her "oh god" i muttered.. what is he doing..

My grandma gave me a shocking look and the adult start whispering

I see my cousin looking at me giving me a half smile. I did the same.

skip tonight

It was party time so we head to the grands. 

I was ready to party, it was like 5 or something. I arrived. I see cody right in front of the grand looking like if he was waiting for me?

I went to him and he smiled "you're here, are you ready to go dance?" 

"but I don't think I would dance if I don't know how?"

He grabbed my hand and walked in. I couldn't help but smiled. When we got in " hey let's take a picture" i said as I take out my phone. We took so many poses and I can't lie he looks really hot with his suit and tie and some nice cologne and watch, hair done and everything about him feels like a dream.

I posted on Instagram and captioned "It was a great day with him" and that's when he asked for my number and instagram. I gave it to him

We start talking so much and until I hear the song "baby i" by Ariana grande  I told him this was my favorite song and we both started dancing and all sort of shit.

Cody pov

I think I'm in love with natalie? but I'm not sure but I felt something since the first time I saw her at the mall.

I feel like she is a keeper..

We were dancing a slow song, I had placed my hand on her shoulder and waist ya know?

Our eyes locked together then I see my uncle taking pictures of us and I can't tell she wasn't into it and I told my uncle kindly " I think that's enough picture.."

Then few minutes later we took a seat.

She left to use a restroom but her phone was here ringing

Me: hello sorry-

person: uh who are you?

me: I'm her-

Then I see natalie at the right time and handed her the phone.

Wait could that guy be her boyfriend who called her?

Natalie Pov

I came back and seeing cody face is somewhat hard to understand but its ok but now I just need to pick up the calls first.

me: hello *looks at the phone* oh it's you michael

him: who was the guy?

me: that don't matter now but did you need something?

him: I wanted to know if you're free?

me: I'm sorry- I'm at a wedding bro

Long short talk we ended.

Then I looked at cody and then my eyes wander looking for my grandma. I was kinda tired you know? I feel like going home now honestly..

"what's wrong?" he leaned in and I'm starting to realize what we are doing is not right.

"It's nothing I'm just tired sorry" I looked away avoiding eye contact.

Then I see my cousin mike. He gave me that look " is that your boyfriend?" he talked so fucking loud "shut up no he's not"

"I'm sorry cody I'm gonna go home now"

I gave a side hug..

I looked for my grandma finally I told her " Let's go home it's late now"

I drove home feeling so tired and lost about my feelings.

--arrived home after half hour driving

I took off my makeup and everything like my usual night routine and I checked my phone and seem I got a message?

"Hope you get home safe and have goodnight :)  - cody"

I smiled " aww I hope the same for you, and thanks for being with me the whole day. Goodnight"

Then I scrolled through my likes and I saw multiple comments from my friends.

" OOUU WHOS DATTTTTTTT" with so much smirking emojis and just some really silly I decided not to respond and eventually I fell asleep.
