It was a Friday like any other so I didn't think anything of the strange things that were happening. I should have paid more attention though because that was the day my life changed forever.
It was the twenty-seventh of April, the day of my seventeenth birthday. I was throwing a party with a bunch of friends at my house but strange things had been happening all day. People I didn't know had been coming up to me and telling me happy birthday, I would see things out of the corner of my eye and then they would disappear when I'd go to take a closer look, now my dog is just staring out the window at something but I can't see anything.
All of these strange happenings made no sense so I didn't tell anyone. Now I wish I would have and I might not be in this mess.
