Ch.9 Celebrations

im so sorry that its so late ive been so busy but here you go i hope you enjoy and it was worth the wait. so here you go the long awaited chapter 9

Y/N's P.O.V.~

When we get back to HQ i smile as he grabs my hand and we walk inside together "okay Shane gang..and twist..we have big news." Eli says happily getting everyone's attention and he raises our hands above our heads and smiles. "Eli proposed!-" i start "-and she said yes!" Eli finishes my sentence. everyone smiles "congratulations dude" Kord ((A/n i learned ive been calling him 'Gord' when in fact his name is 'Kord' and for those who might have pointed that out to me and i didnt listen im sorry ill try and go back and edit those chapters)) says and pats Eli on the back. Trixie walks over to me and looks at the ring. "its so beautiful Y/N" she smiles. twist walks over and looks at Eli. "you better treat her right dude" twist warns and Eli nods. Pronto walks over "that's fantastic. Pronto assumes he will be the best man" pronto says and Eli  immediately speaks up "actually i was thinking twist would be the best man." Eli looks at twist pleadingly "yeah ill be the best man dude.". i smile and sit on the couch next to Eli and lay my head onto his shoulder. "we should have a party to celebrate the engagement!" i say excitedly. "I'll help plan!" Trixie says.

~a week later an hour before the party

well here i am pacing around mine and Eli's room  Trixie had invited all our friends and closest most trusted allies. i had even sent word to the shadow clans leader. i had been so confident and excited for this up until about half an hour ago 'right before we were about to leave for  Antimony cavern ((a/n where they held the party don't like it feel free to change it i was just too lazy to keep googling )) might i add'  when pronto just had to  start pointing out everything that could go wrong. i had practically felt the confidence leave  my body and the color drain from my face as i ran to the room and started to pace and mutter to myself. fear was filling my body and now i terrified of one thing because deep down i knew nothing  could ruin this announcement party. they had been trying to get me to come out for 15 minutes now but nothing they were telling would be able to reassure me that  this party would go well. i sighed loudly and sat on the bed twiddling my thumbs i heard them give up and walk away.  i held my face into my knees as i hugged them to my chest then i heard a soft knock and a familiar voice say my name sweetly "Y/n.? can i come in..?" i heard him ask i sighed again "fine.." i said. i didn't get a response before he walked in closing the door behind him.

he walked over and sat next to me. he wrapped his arms around me "Y/n it will be fine.." Eli says in a comforting tone rubbing my back. pull my face out of my knees and look up at him. he smiles sweetly and wipes a stray tear from my cheek and kisses my forehead. i hug him tightly for a minute he hugs back when we pull away from the hug "thanks for comforting me Eli." i smile softly and he stands up offering his hand to me to help me  stand up. i take his hand and he pulls me into his side. "of my love. you know I'll always be there for ya" he takes me out of the room. "get on your mechs guys if we leave now we can still make it before the guests" he calls out and with that we set off for Antimony cavern

~timeskip till they are at the cavern and most everyone has arrived~

i was holding Eli's hand looking at all the guests with a content smile on my face i'd been hiding the engagement ring from everyone so we could announce it as a suprise. i looked to see that here was specific group missing we had already told everyone that the shadow clan might show up and that they should not be afraid of them. I looked down at the ground. Eli noticed wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him whispering in my ear "i love you Y/n" i blushed and turned my head so my head was facing him and pecked him on the lips "i love you too Eli" . eli called everyones attention "everyone..we have an important announcment..i asked Y/N to marry me..and she said yes. we're engaged!" Eli cheered and everyone clapped and congratulated us i seperated from Eli and went around showing off the ring. (whichever one you chose) the party continued and everyone was having fun. soon after the party was over we  were headed back to HQ when we got there i flopped onto the couch and took a nap.
