Karma starred at me with wide eyes

At first I thought I could...
But... I can't bring myself to kill someone in front of him. Kill someone who means soo much to everyone else.

I walked up to Karasuma holding my knife.
"Don't do it Nagisa!" I heard Kayano yell.

I was now in front of him
"I'm sorry..." I dropped the knife and faced everyone.
They all gave me a smile of relief.
I turned to look Takaoka in the eye.
"I won't kill him" I stated clearly
"... I see. I'm disappointed, Nagisa, I thought we started to connect."
"....." I was starring at him while pressing down on my injury
"Hmm...Looks like the only way to bring out your old self is if, I kill one of them."
He pointed his gun at everyone
"!!"
I was about to run over
"Move and they'll all die!"

"Yeah, but I want to kill the monster I had so much fun with the past 7 years."

He started to dig his nails into Karma's shoulder

Karma pov
In the corner of my eye I saw Takaoka take out a small gun
"Let him go"
Please Nagisa, don't risk your life
"Then come get me"
I felt his nails dig into my shoulder and before I knew it Nagisa was running towards us despite being injured.
"Nagisa Don't!"
I was released from Takaoka's grip and fell.
I watched in horror as Nagisa got closer and was shot down.

The bullet hitting him
The blood splattering
Nagisa falling to the ground
"Nagisa!" Everyone yelled
I was the first one to be by Nagisa's side
"Oi! Nagisa! Wake up!"

"... what have I been doing these past 7 years?"

"All of this for revenge, and I still couldn't kill him"

He smiled in pain
