Y/N's pov
I can hear but not see or move.
This whole time I heard the panic in Mike's voice. His Will to keep me alive and well. I could basically feel my skin rotting away. The sad thing is that I could tell Mike knew what was gonna happen to me. I needed help. I only know one person who could help me. That was Ben before he died. Before the bad people got him. I got revenge and killed them all. That was the night I met Mike and our little party.
"Don't answer the door you dweeb!" Mike spoke to Steve. There was another loud knock on their door. Mike grabbed my hand and laid his head on my shoulder as the other boys leave the basement to do something else. I only know this because I heard their feet against the wooden stairs.
"I'm sorry Y/N. I never wanted this. If there's anyway I can help you... is there a way you can tell me." Mike says. I realized that his hand was in mine. If I use the couple last pieces of my powers I can tell him. There... Ben. He's alive. After all he heals without trying to. I use me and Mike's connection and bring us into my black void of sadness. Mike's eyes were red and irritated. Looks like he was on the verge of crying. I've never seen Mike cry. Mike looks around for someone and looks scared. I can't watch this any longer. I step out in front of him trying To make it look like I'm not dying on the inside. Mike looks at me blankly. I grab his hand and hug him even tighter than the other night. Finally he does the same.
"Help me. Get Ben." I say. Mike looks confused and pulls away from our hug.
"Who's Ben?" Mike asked.
"My partner. Subject 004." I explain and show him the memories from that night.
"But he's dead." Mike says and looks to me with sad eyes.
"No. He heals. I-I had forgotten then. I was in to much of trouble to wait for him. My mind was overwhelmed." I say and sit on the ground. It was slightly wet but who's really gonna care.
"So... where is he now?" Mike asked. I point over to a scene that showed Ben with a family. A mom, a dad, a older sister, and a baby sister. Just like Mike. Mike looks closer to the scene and sees Ben more close up.
"That boy... he g-goes to my school." Mike stuttered and look to me. "His names troy and he's a bully. There's not a chance he would believe me."
"Mike, I trust you to help me before I pass. Don't fail me like I did you." I say as a tear falls down my face.
"Do what you can. If he doesn't... Believe you, than let me go back to hopper. It's not the worse place I could be right now." I smile and touch Mike's hair.
"Also, I want you to be happy so when I wake up, if I do, I'm taking you to eleven. Then I'll leave you alone from there. I see the hurt in your eyes and I want it to go away. Know that I care for you just as much but eleven cares more." I say and walk closer to mike. I caress his cheek and stare him in the eyes.
"Mike, she's your everything. You'll find her again. She's right in front of your eyes sometimes but you're to blind to see."
"Wait But-" Mike was cut off by a certain Harrington.
"Mike wake up. Wake up. I need to tell you who was at the door." Steve said.
Mike's pov.
I woke up angry because of Steve. Why couldn't I have had like two more minutes. I gave him a annoyed look and sigh.
"Who was it?" I ask. Steve sits down in front of me.
"It was Max. She came to see if you were okay. She heard you went home early." Steve explained.
"What a sweet child." Steve smiled. I roll my eyes and look to Y/N. She's getting worse. I need to find Ben.
