The next day...

Jughead approached Archie who was talking to Valerie Brown, a member of the pussy cats.

"Hey man," Jughead started, tapping the redhaired's shoulder. Archie tilt his head to the brunette. "What's up?" He said. "Can I have a minute?" Jughead asked.

"Sure. Um, i'll be back." Archie told Valerie who just nodded.

Archie and Jughead stepped aside.

"Have you seen Betty?" The brunette asked. Archie had a curious look on his face.

"Uh, I saw her earlier with Veronica in the cafeteria. What about her?" The redhaired asked with a slight smirk on his face.

"Why that look?" Jughead frowned. "Betty and I are working on this article."

"Is that it?" Archie cockled.

"Stop teasing bro." Jughead shook his head but he could not control the glow on his face.

"Aw. You're blushing dude. Tell me, you like Betty don't you?" Archie grinned, putting his hands in his pockets.

Jughead had always been attracted to Betty but he was not sure if he was really into the blonde. Jughead had never been into a relationship and he was not planning to yet. This guy was too busy writing incidents happening in Riverdale.

"I don't know. But thanks man." Jughead smiled genuinely.

"I could talk to Betty if you want." Archie told his friend. "But make sure you treat her right when you cross the bridge, alright man? I know I was jerk hurting her feelings and all..."

Jughead chuckled and shook his head. "Enough with the drama, Archie. You look ugly." He laughed.

"I'm serious!"

"Alright, alright. I'll see you around." The brunette said, giving the redhaired a tap on his shoulder.

The night later...

Betty and Veronica were at POP's just having their favorite flavor milkshakes.

"So Betty," the brunette started. "It seems like Jughead and you are busy making articles lately huh?"

"Kind of frustrating somehow," the blonde responded, slight shaking her head.

"How so?"

"All these issues in our town are becoming too irrelevant but hopefully, we can cope." Betty half smiled.

"What's new..." Veronica rolled her eyes.

The girls were continue having random conversations, putting aside the feelings they were afraid to tell each other.

Kevin entered the place and noticed the bestfriends on the last table. He smirked then walked to the counter.

"Is your musicbox and stereo still working?" Kevin asked the person at the counter.

"They're working perfectly fine but we stopped using it since the owner of those resigned here and never came back to get them." The worker told Kevin.

"Can I operate that for tonight? I'm really having some mood for a romantic vicinity." Kevin grinned.

"No problem, go ahead." The man said, allowing the guy to.

Kevin knew what song to put on — 'All Through The Night' version of Sleeping At Last. He smirked decided to play the music in a little while.

"Can I ask you something, Ronnie?" Betty said, taking a sip of her milkshake.
