Chapter 3

I made my way to the locker room and changed in the bathroom. I don't like it when people are looking at me or in the same room at me as I change.

It's just really awkward and I don't want anyone to take a nude of me and send it around the school. I heard it happened to a girl name Anne that came here last year but when she found out about the picture she changed schools and moved away. Know one ever heard from her since.

I finished getting ready and made my way to my floor spot and sat cris cross apple sauce. There where a group of popular girls sittings on the bleachers talking about the guys that where playing basket ball. One of them noticed me and leaned over to whisper something in her friends ear they both look at me and her friend nodded. There attention went back to the boys playing basketball. I pulled out my phone and continued playing my previous game of temple run. I felt something hard hit the back of my head and turned around to see what it was. A basketball, that's what hit me. I soon saw David run towards me to get the ball.

"Oh great" I say to myself hoping know one heard me.

David runs over to the ball yelling "I got it!" and looks at me for a moment and throughs the ball to one of his friends. He walks towards me and asked me if I'm ok I just nod at him and he returns to him game.

Out of know where the coach comes and blows his whistle telling us to all get in are seats.

"OK TODAY WE WILL BE CHOOSING ARE GYM PARTNERS!" The coach yells in the gym which makes his voice echo

"Will we be allowed to pick are own partners coach?" Someone asks from the class

"NO I DONT WANT YOU TO BE TALKING INSTEAD OF HELPING YOUR PARTNER NOT GET INJURED!" Coach yells back at the kid

"I'm gonna call out your names and I want you to stand next to each other. Let's see who we have here."

"Gabriella Brooks" the couch announces

I make my way up to where the coach is and stood about 5 feet away from him. I waited as he called my partners name.

"David Hunter" you have got to be kidding me.

"Come on gabby it will be fine. You can get through it." My sub-conscience tells me.

David walks over to me and sits on the floor looking at his hands.

"David get off your butt and stand up!" coach yells at him and everyone laughed.

David jumps to his feet and yells "SIR YES SIR!" With a smirk on his face

"Just 3 more years Garret just 3 more years" coach says to himself and I can't help but laugh

Surprisingly David smiles at me and laughs to. While coach lists of the rest of the teams David comes close to me to tells me something.

"So I guess we are partners then" he says with a smirk on his face.

What was he so happy about I thought he hated me why was he being nice?

Coach blows his whistle and David finally stops looking at me. Why has he bin starring at me its really creeping me out. Coach gets are attention again.

"Ok everyone I want you to take a good look at your partner and remember who he or she is"

I think to myself "he has already had a good look of me."

Next I want you and your partner to go find a rope and both take turns climbing it. Boys make sure your partner does not fall. I don't want any lawsuits happening because someone's partner wasn't paying attention.

David grabs my hand and pulls me to the closets rope. At first I was really surprised by him touching me what was that all about he is really scaring me right now.

"Ok well um do you want to go first or should I?" David says looking at his feet

"You can go first" I say trying not to make eye connect with him

"Ok sound good try not to enjoy the view to much" he said and gives me a wink😉

I just give him a confused look and didn't look up at him while he climbs.

A few seconds later I heard a bell ring above me and look up to see where it came from. Right away I see David's smirk as he comes down from the rope.

"Your turn, do you need help getting up there?"

"Yea I'm good, I don't need your help. I got it on my own."

"Suit yourself I'll be here to catch you if you think your gonna fall."

I ignore his comment and try to grip on to the rope as much if I can. It's no use I couldn't pull myself up.

Out of know where I feel hands on my sides try to help lift me up. I let them and try to climb the rest of the way to the top. I froze in fear. I couldn't do it. I'm really scared of heights.

"Did you freeze up there?" I hear David ask while I'm dangling on the rope.

"I can't do it. It's to high."

"Ok come here I'll help u down" David says while opening his arm out to me.

I was to scared to even reach for his arms. I couldn't move a muscle.

David noticed I wasn't moving and before I could realize what was going on his hands were wrapped around my body and my legs where around his waist. David eyes where looking into mine and my heart started to beat louder. What was going on.
