Chapter one: Disappear

Chapter one

To vanish, not be in sight.

Natsu.

As I opened my front door I had a horrible feeling, horrible. Like today was gonna be bad but I pushed that feeling away and smelled in the fresh air, walking down my drive way to my mail box, opening it and closing it back. I looked through them.

"Bills, more bills, random invites, magazines, b–What's this?" I wondered, looking at the letter that had
Dear Natsu
On it, a bit weird if you do ask me.

I walked inside, closing the door with my foot. Setting the rest of my mail on the table I ripped open the letter eager to read it,

"Dear, Natsu."
I read out loud, reading the rest in my mind, I had to stop about half way through, trying to fully understand, I then began to read more then said

"Sincerely  –Lucy Heartfilia."
So that's it....?
She's gone....
No, this is a joke.
Yeah, a funny joke..
Any minute now she'll pop out and scream Surprise!!!

But that minute never came, that minute turned into hours, those hours turned into days, those days turned to weeks, weeks to months, and months to years.

She still hasn't came back, two damn years and I'm still confused. What did she mean by admit it? And acting innocent? She thought me and Trista had a thing? Ugh, my brain hurts.

I grabbed my coat, putting it on, looking in the mirror I realized something "I haven't wore my scarf in two damn years," I mumble under my breath, sighing rather loudly.

I walked over to my window, opening it as I breathed in "where did you go?" I asked the wind, as if it was going to answer me.
It only felt like it blew harder, damn winter.

I shut the window back, locking it. I grabbed my car keys and left in a flash. I started up my 2016 Ford, it was nice don't get me wrong, just a bit....Smelly, I mean I love the color and everything! Fire color red!

I put it into reverse and backed up out of my drive way, yawning. Looking at the time "8:25 am...."

I rubbed my eye as I drove down the snowy road just as I was driving as saw a flash of blonde, I stomped on my Breaks, pulling over.
I got out of my truck, shutting it back.

I walked over to where I saw the blonde and noticed it was a flower, so I pulled over for a flower?

But it was the only flower still alive, I looked around it and saw many of the same kind of flower dead. Odd I thought.

I went to pick it up but then it just began to blow with the wind, I stood there as I watched it blow away, out of sight.

I sighed sadly, knowing what that flower reminded me of. Just as a flashback hit me

Flashback

"Hey Luce, promise me something," I said to her, poking her cheek.

"Yeah What is it?" She wondered
chewing on some gum.

"Promise me you won't leave me
And I'll promise I won't leave you,"
I said grinning, gaining her full attention.

She laughed ever so cutely and nodded
"I promise I won't leave you,"
She said sticking out her pinky.

I stuck out mine and we locked them together
"Promise."
We said in sync.

Flashback over

I stood up from crouching, wiping my eyes. I didn't even realize that I was crying.

I walked back over to my truck and got in, making sure no one was coming as I pulled back onto the road, driving down it towards my job. I was a trainer, I was currently going to train a new girl, I work at a place called Fairy Tail. It's a gym.

As I put on my turning signal I turned into Fairy Tails parking lot. Backing into a parking spot as I got out, grabbing my gym bag that I always had in my truck.

As I walked in I gave a quick smile to MiraJane, she does all the paperwork here. She's really sweet but DO NOT get on her bad side....

"Hey Natsu! Your 'newbie' is waiting in your room, Kay?" Mira said to me, typing on a keyboard.

"Okay, Thanks Mira." I replied and walked into my training room.

As I walked in I striped of my shirt
"Yo, I'm your trainer Natsu Dragnee—" before I could finish I pulled off my shirt fully, looking at my Newbie.

"L.....Luce..?" I asked looking at her, dropping my shirt to the ground.

She slowly nodded her head in response, staring straight at the floor.
Just then the door slammed open
"Yo Natsu I've got a—" it was Gray, and I'm sure he was shocked to see Lucy too.
Gray and Luce we're best friends, after this girl named Jenifer dumbed Gray Lucy helped him and then they became good friends.

"You gotta be fucking kidding me," I heard him mumble under his breath.

"Hi Gray..." that sweet angelic voice said—No! Dammit Natsu don't think like that.

"Why the hell are you here!?" Gray lashed out, bowing up as he walked up to lucy, staring down at her small body.

"I decided to come back," she said holding her arms.
