"That is forbidden, Vivi! Can't you understand that?!"

"But Kuya.." I kneeled in front of him, weeping. I tried to look vulnerable hoping he would soften himself but it didn't work. He is not showing even the slightest bit of mercy towards me.

"Vivi, please. Stop this bullcr*p. That is forbidden and we all know it couldn't be changed. It's fate that is hindering, it's something we all cannot control." I took a brief look up at his face. I have not seen him this firm and emotionless, it's frightening.

"You can help us, anyway. Perhaps you can do something. No, together, we can do something." I moved a muscle to stand up in order to be closer to him but as soon as he saw my attempt, he took a step backwards. My heart shattered into a million pieces. My brother.. it was as if he thinks everything is hopeless. No, he's wrong, this isn't what he thinks this is. "Help us prove they're wrong. I.. I know they are. Everything must have been incorrect. Please." I pleaded, still  down on my knees.

"I.." His face showed hesitation for a second but immediately turned cold once again. "I'm sorry, I can't help you, Vi. You need to stop this." He finished as he started to move farther.. away from me, away from the possibilities, away from the 'maybes'.

I held my face with both hands and started to sob as thunders started to roar followed by bits of rain. People are surely staring at me right now from different sides, let them stare. Let them kill me with their stares, I don't care. I have been shot by many bullets already. I'm already dead.
