I come back with Kanaya's tea and my coffee
"thank you" she says in an English accent
"I love your accent!" I say smiling at her
she smiles back "aww thank you, I love yours too"
"Thanks" I reply, "You're so kind"
she laughs "so are you"
"Ya think?"
"yes I do, you keep giving me compliments and you didn't slap me when I was staring at you.."
"Why were you staring at me?"
"well.. You're... Y-you're very pretty..." she looks down
I grin "really?"
She looks up "Yes, you're beautiful"
"uh.. Thank you!" I say in disbelief, 'why would a girl this perfect call me beautiful, does she like me? no! of course not, it was just a compliment plus she's probably straight anyway' I think.
Kanaya looks at her watch "Oh!" she looks back up at me, "sorry but I was supposed to meet a friend 10 minutes ago but if you ever want to meet up some time, here's my number" she says as she hurriedly writes down her phone number on a napkin

"Bye".
Wow! I take the napkin and put it in my pocket 'maybe she did like me' I smile at the thought then finish my coffee and leave.
As I walk to the book store I think a little more about Kanaya 'If she does like me it's a miracle, she's so pretty and kind and...'
"WATCH IT" I hear a young man shout at you as he jumps out the way
"S-sorry, I was caught up in my thoughts"
"YEAH, well maybe you should start thinking about where you're walking rather than boybands or whatever" he replies angrily
"urgh!" I stick my middle finger up at him as he walks away then realise I'm already at the store, I walk in and smell that wonderful smell of books, I walk around then stop dead in my tracks as I see Kanaya, she's talking to a girl with blonde hair, I overhear some of their conversation
"... but I met this girl, rose, she was just so pretty and..."
"SNOOOOOREEE"
"Vriska!"
"what?!"
"I'm trying to tell you something!"
"blah blah blah crush on some chick blah blah blah"
"Well I don't have a crush on.. oh okay I do"
"See!"
"anyway you were saying something about me making you a dress..."
I stop listening in as I hear my phone ringing,
"hello?"
"yo" it's Dave
"What do you want?" I ask walking outside so as not to annoy other customers
"nothin' just wanted to chat"
"look, I can't talk right now!"
"why not?"
"I'm kind of staaaaaaaa....." I stop as Kanaya and Vriska or whatever her name was walk out of the shop
"...are you there"
"call you back" I say looking up at Kanaya, "Hey" I smile
"Oh hello again Rose, this is Vriska"
"Nice to meet ya" Vriska completely ignores you
"Would you like to come with us?" Asks Kanaya
"So where to then?" I ask...
