'Wait! No! Why did I say that? STUPID STUPID STUPID! Now she probably thinks I just want to get into her pants or something! Urgh.... Too soon' I think to myself.
"I'm so sorry, I.... I know you just said all that as a joke, there's no way you actually like me!" I say grabbing my bag and fleeing from Kanaya, I stop to get a taxi but realise I don't have enough money.
'Urgh, this is just GREAT! I'm crying like a fucking five year-old' I think as I run faster.
I finally get home and unlock the door to your apartment only to find John and Dave playing some dumb video game.
"Hey Rose" John shouts to me, I decide to ignore him and walk on to my bedroom, I put on some music, not only to calm me down but to cover the noise of my crying.
'Why am I crying this much?' I think, 'She's just some girl I met like 4 hours ago!'
I rummage though my bag only to find Kanaya's cell phone number, putting it on my bedside table, I then pull out some tissues and wipe my eyes then drift to sleep......
........ I wake up with the phone number in one hand and a tissue in the other, I get up and notice a bottle of vodka hidden behind my bookcase
'Yes!' I think to myself as I stand up and slowly walk toward the bottle, I've been searching for this all over! I probably shouldn't drink it right now but I'm too upset to think rationally and decide to pick up the bottle, it's almost empty. I curse under my breath but take the bottle and drink anyway not bothering to find a glass or cup.
A few minutes later Dave walks in "Hey Ro-........" He stops mid-sentence when he sees me, eyes red with tears and makeup streaming down my face.
"Oh. My. God! What?" I shout at him
"I was just gonna ask if you you were alright with us using some of your stuff?"
I sigh "Yeah, take what you want"
I pick up the phone number I dropped on the floor and dial, it rings for what feels like forever until I here the automated voice tell me to "leave a message after the beep" once it beeps I begin talking,
"Hi kanaya, it's me Rose, from earlier. I uhh I just want t-to say sorry for what I did earlier, it was stupid! I was thinking I could make it up to you by maybe buying you dinner tomorrow? Call me back when you're available. Bye." I hang up.
