I get home after one of the shittiest days of mu life, I check your phone and see I have a voicemail. I listen to it and hear the girl from earlier, Rose, speaking! Her voice is so sweet and gentle but there's also a sad tone in her voice, she actually sounds a little drunk...
'Oh, so it was nothing I did?' I think before calling her back, it rings a few times before it's picked up, I don't hear Roses voice but instead hear a male voice.
"Sup" He says
"Um... Hello.. I'm calling for Rose"
"Oh right, 'course, hang on a second"
I wait then hear some yelling before he comes back,
"So...?" I ask
"So... she wants to know who you are"
"Oh! It's Kanaya, if she doesn't remember me just say the girl from earlier"
I hear him yell "IT'S KENYA.. or KANA OR SOMETHING, THE GIRL FROM EARIER SHE SAYS!"
Then I here movement as the phone is passed to Rose
"H-hi" I stutter
"Hey" she whispers
"Um.. I-I g-got your voicemail"
"Oh," she sighs "Do you want to then?"
"Yes! Of course!"
"Really?!"
"Yeah! I'll see you tomorrow night?"
"Mmhmm"
"Great!"
"Bye!" I add
"Bye! I l-"
"What?"
"Oh, umm, nothing! Bye!" She stammers then hangs up.
