"I wanna see daddy," Crissy cried as she clung to my leg as i was putting the last bag into the car. We were on our way to the airport . It's an easy move because i paid the moving company to bring our stuff to New York.
"Criss .. you know daddy's busy, we'll have to see him another time," I said while fastening her in her car seat. As soon as i finished i hopped in the passengers seat and started on my way to my new beginning.
Chresanto P.O.V
"Chresssss !! The movie is about to start !" Marissa screamed from downstairs, this would be my one hundredth time watching Love Jones .. after all it was Carmen's favorite movie.
"I'm coming bae" i grabbed my phone a quickly walked down the steps, trying not to wake sleeping Creah.
"Dang .. what took you so long?" Marissa asked giving me a stank face.
"I had to get my phone baby"
"Oh don't even think you're gonna sit her and text the whole time" she said snatching it out of my hand. "This is my first time seeing this and I want to enjoy it."
"I've seen this a hundred times Marissa, Carmen used to love watching this, dang .. give me my phone" i said snatching it back.
"Yeah so you can text that bitch .. i know your lying ass .. is-" *gco
"shh" i said, Thank God my phone rung interrupting her annoying ass. It was Jacob.
*Phone Convo*
Chres: Wassup bruh
Jake: Nothing man .. just found out something crazy though .
Chres: Whats that?
Jake: Did you know Carmen is leaving for NY today?
Chres: What ?! I didn't think she was leaving this soon!
Jake: Yeah man .. i just pulled up at the airport now to say goodbye.
Chres: Damn .. uhh i'm on my way.
Jake: You better hurry up, plane leaves shortly"
Chres: Aight ..
Jake : Peace .
I got off the phone with Jake and immediately started scrambling for my shoes and keys.
"Where in the hell are you going" Marissa said pulling at my arm.
"Baby .. now is not the time," i said rushing past her and out the front door.
"You're sleeping on the couch tonight nigga !!" she yelled as i started the car and pulled out of the driveway.
I shrugged it off and continued speeding down the road. I had to see Carmen and my baby girl before they just walked out of my life without goodbye. Even though i'm 100% man .. don't trip . I began to tear up thinking about how much of Crissy's life i already missed, and how much more i was about to. Not only that but Carmen .. my true love is leaving me .. for good .

I arrived at the airport looking around fro Carmen and Crissy .. but when i walked up to Jake he was walking towards the exit.
"You missed her man," he said with his head held low and and a glum facial expression.
"Damn ." Was all i could say . I turned towards the exit, following behind Jacob.
