Her pointy white fingers clasp a picture. I can see the outline of his body, his mouth, and more importantly; her. She's sitting there, in his lap, her platinum hair falling down in waves over her chest. She has faded blue eyes and tan skin. Freckles out line the front of her face. She crosses her short legs in front of her as she sits on Fins lap.

Now don't get me wrong, I realize I'm not exactly in the clear here either. I wasn't exactly cheating. I was planning on breaking up with him, however, he is cheating on me. His lips nibble at the top of her speckled ear and his hands are on her thighs. I feel vomit make its way up to my throat as I push my hair aside and run for a trash can. It hurts, it does. It makes me feel much smaller than I actually am.

"Where did you get that?" I rasp, my vocal chords recovering from the action of throwing up.

She wrinkles her nose in disgust, but quickly covers it up and coughs into her hands. "Jason. He told me to hand this to you." She walks over quickly, her solid heels clacking against the tile. She places the paper in my hands and leaves me there standing.

I let my eyes graze over the details again. Perfect hair, teeth, eyes, lips, everything. I feel my eyebrows furrow and my lips push themselves into a flower. I let my fingers find their way around the sharp paper and push it into a ball.

"Dammit!" I scream thrashing around on my one little tile as the red head walks away her hips swaying and her hair blowing.

I throw the picture into a trash can and I kick my shoes off. I run after her and grip her shoulder, turning her around.

"Why would Jason send me that?" I growl, my hair is falling off unto her short body.

Her lips curl into a small smile. "Because he wants you to know the truth."

"Bull shit," I spit. "Jason doesn't do that kind of stuff. He already knew-" I stop myself. I'm not going to tell her Jason knows that Hayden and I are secretly dating. That would just end up in the rumor mill, so instead I turn away and grab my shoes, pushing the school cafeteria doors open.

I scan the room to look for Fin. We don't have lunch at the same times so he probably thinks he can get away with stuff like that. But he won't, not this time. My eyes stop at the blonde. She's sitting next to him laugh and stabbing food.

"Fin Freaking Parker!" I shriek across the room, my voice carrying over to their little 'conversation'.

His head whips back to look at me. His eyes widen in shock and he calmly smooths his hair down with his hands. "Maddie!" he says.

I walk over and slap him, "You bastard, I can't believe you would do this. You're a liar, you know that?"

He scoffs with a sudden confidence spark and turns to me, "And you're dating Hayden. Looks like we both have secrets." he says, turning back to his food.

I stand there. Everyone is looking at me, everyone hates me, and it's all because of Jason.

I push the other doors open. The city air pushes my tears to the side. I keep running. I'm barefoot as I stride the 2 miles to my house. No way in hell am I riding the bus, and I'm pretty sure the invitation for me to drive in Fins car has been withdrawn.

I'm pretty sure I've stepped on a shard of glass on the side walk, because there's blood trailing from behind me. I didn't feel the pain. I was too busy running from the other pain, with a pair of shoes in my hand.
