Chapter 11 ~An Old Friend~

Clem's POV

Knowing that Javi's okay makes everything so much better. It hurt to see Gabe so worried and heartbroken at times; hell, he sometimes wouldn't even talk to me about it. Do I blame him? Not at all. It was just great knowing that Javi lived; I mean, he's like my older brother in a way. I'm now walking around Hampton Avenue; for some reason they had me on the security team with some other people. Gabe was off in the armory, Kate was with Javi and had Derek with her, Eleanor was in the infirmary, Lee was with me, Luke and Kenny were watching AJ. Everyone else was off doing their own thing for now. "Hey sweet pea, you okay? You seem quite happy" Lee smiles. "Yeah, just glad Javi is okay and Gabe is happy" I reply. He nods and we talk a bit more as we walk to the other guards of the place. It was surprisingly quiet, not that I'm complaining or  anything. I grab an AK-47 and the guards open the gate so I can walk out; "Be careful, Clem" Lee tells me, I nod and walk out. I start walking the perimeter, making sure everything is fine. I kill a couple walkers with my hunting knife, normal. I wonder what my parents would think of me now; woah, where did that come from? I wish they were here with me, it would make everything so much better. I sigh, looking down as I walk along the perimeter; I miss them so much. It's not fair, they shouldn't have gone! I hear my self sniffle slightly, knowing I'm on the verge of breaking down and sobbing. I lift my head and blink a few times, refusing to cry. Then everyone else; Nick, Christa, Duck, Omid, Katjaa, Lily, Carly, Doug, Rebecca, Alvin, Walter, everyone I've ever known or met. What is wrong with me? Am I cursed? I sigh, not being to shake these thoughts out of my head. I then hear a rustle in the bushes; I quickly turn to face them. A girl comes out with her gun pointed to me, I return the gesture; glaring like usual. "Who the hell are you?" I ask, glaring. "Put the gun down and we can talk" She says. "Not a chance in hell I'm gonna--" The rude ass bitch cut me off. "Wait, Clementine? Is that you?" She asks, lowering the gun. 'Who the hell are you?" I ask. "It's me Christa" she says. I take a second to really look at her and her features; it really is her. "Christa! Oh my god! How are you alive?" I ask, lowering my gun and walking over to her. "I got away and set out to find you, and I did" She smiles and pulls me into a hug; I happily hug back. "Lee and Kenny are gonna wanna see you" I say. "Lee? He's alive?" She asks in complete disbelief. I nod and lead her inside and show her around. ~I'm so happy she's back~. I show her to everyone else, they were happy to see her. We all just hang out for the day and just talk before we all head to where we're staying and go to sleep

So sorry this took so long. I'm going through some stuff that I'm not gonna get into cause it's really not important. Anyway, hope you guys like this short, rushed, chapter! Again, I'm sorry for that.
