prologue: a broken fang gets a new start

Hello, New and old readers! This prologue will be in two parts, since I wanted to add backstory. Anyway, let the reading commence!

Your p.o.v.

I stared at the bodies of my comrades, eyes wide in shock. Suddenly, one of the bodies grabs my leg, whimpering in pain as she groaned out,"y/n... is that you?" Now recognizing the girl as my best friend natalya, I could only stare as she dragged her self up using me as a climbing post. I broke out of my trance, helping her over to a tree to rest. She said," hey... don't cry, Gray... I'm not gonna die just yet... not until I kill the bastard behind this..." I didn't even know I was crying, but once she called my by my pet nickname, I said," natalya, please... don't do this to me..." I took a look at the wound. It wasn't good. She coughed up some blood, and said," Adam did this...take shirogetsu...and tell him I said me and the silent fang will see him in hell..." She trailed off, then kissed me, crying. She said," I don't want to leave You! I love you, y/n! Stay with me, until the e-" I sat bolt upright in bed, panting for breath. "It was just a dream, y/n... just a dream." I said quietly to myself. My scroll dinged, and I looked at the notification. It said,'don't know if you're up or not, kid, but I figured I'd tell you now. The white fang are mobilizing outside of vale, at a small base. Coordinates attached. -Q' I saw the attachment, and noted the base' s location. I got into my 'work clothes', a black and blue hooded overcoat, gray shirt, black pants, and black boots. I paused next to a weapons rack, and grabbed my sword/scythe future's end, a silver .454 long slide full auto M1911 colt and a Sako bolt-action thirty-aught six with night vision optics, plus extra ammo for the handgun and a pouch full of loose ammo for the Sako. I set out, jumping out of my window and tucking into a roll on landing. Glancing around, I set off for the base.

A/N

This is my fourth story, and it's also something that I sat on for a while. I mean, seriously. It would make sense for a resistance group as large as the white fang to have an assassination/covert operations squad, and I just thought silent fang made a lot of sense as a name for such a group. Anyway, yes, I know the silent fang were minor bosses in destiny one: house of wolves. But think, and you'll see what i mean. I don't own RWBY, Sako, or Hellsing. Part two should be out within a week. Until next time!
