Good morning! It's 10:50 A.M. E.S.T.! I'm sorry for the unannounced hiatus, but college takes priority(unfortunately ). So without further ado, let the reading commence!!!

I sat down next to Blake, and tuned out the ambient noise as I began to eat lunch. I caught snatches of conversation between Jaune, Pyrrha, and Ruby, not really paying attention until Nora yelled," oh, i know!! We'll break his legs!!!" Prompting me to look up as Jaune said," guys, it's not like Cardin just a jerk to me. Hes a jerk to everyone." A cry of pain, closely followed by laughter and a plea to stop drew my attention to team CRDL bullying a rabbit faunus. My eyes widened as I saw it was my childhood friend, Velvet. I stood up, prompting Blake to say," Y/n, don't." I ignored her, walking up to team CRDL and gripping Cardin's wrist so hard, it popped. He said," let me go, you mutt! I gave him a cold, emotionless glare, and said," you think you can hurt my good friend, and get away with it? I've fought girls that are more fearsome than you. Now back off, before I start breaking things." I let him go, and shoved him back. He stumbled, then said," let's get him, boys!" As he and his team rushed me. I sighed, shook my head, and blocked the clumsy punch aimed at my face. However, a sharp pain in my side as Sky Lark attempted to skewer me with a knife made me drop into 'assassin mode'. I picked up Sky, and threw him into a wall. When Russel Thrush tried to rush me, i stepped inside his guard, grabbed the back of his head, and smashed it into a table. He dropped like a stone. I kicked Dove in the back of the knee, making him kneel, and then I kneed him in the face. All of this took me less than a minute. I turned to Cardin, who looked terrified as he backed away. He said," you're a monster..." something in me snapped, and I growled," if I'm a monster, what does that make you? A man? A dog? Or a monster yourself?" Blake shouted," Y/N, stop!!!" Cardin, in a last ditch effort to provoke me, said," yeah, listen to your emo girlfriend. Freak." I narrowed my eyes, then grabbed Cardin by the throat, and said," make fun of me if you want, but LEAVE! BLAKE! OUT OF THIS!" I punctuated each shout with a blow to his face. Suddenly, I was dragged off of him by team CFVY, and Cardin called out," you all saw that. Everyone saw him assault me and my team, right?" Coco Adel from team CFVY said," nope. I didn't see shit." Yatsuhashi said," I only saw a fool and his friends get in over their heads." Velvet walked up to me, and asked," are you ok, y/n?" I nodded mutely. I walked out, Blake following close behind. She said," hold up, y/n!" I paused, and she said," thanks for defending me. " I said," no one should be thanked just for doing the right thing." She said," you changed when Cardin called you a monster.... why?" I said, " he wasn't wrong. I've killed hundreds in the name of 'peace', then left only to go back to killing. Of all the people I killed while in the white fang, very few actually deserved to die. Even still, their faces haunt me at night. The look of helplessness on their faces, the fear in their eyes... I thought I had left it all behind.... but i guess not." Blake said," if you ever want to talk about it, you know im here for you." I nodded, and as she walked away, I thought to myself,' if only I could talk about the graveyard that is my metaphorical closet...'
