*A few days later when the furniture arrives*

*Knock knock knock*

"Just a second!" I yell at whoever is on the other side of the door as I brush my teeth. I gargled some water and answered the door.

"Hi ma'am, we're here from the furniture. We're here to deliver your furniture. We have everything for you, if you'd just sign your name here we will start bringing the furniture in to your apartment." The big, muscular guy told me.

I signed my name on the clipboard he held out to me. He then yelled down the stairwell at the crew to have the other delivery men to start brining the furniture up.

"We also have a set-up crew that will put your furniture together, that paid extra but someone already paid it off for you. Now you don't have to worry about any other additional charges, it's all covered." He told me with a small smile.

"Thank you." I said and held the door open for the men to bring the furniture through the door way.

One of my neighbors came out of their apartment, brought in a chair, and told me to sit in it, and left. I thought that was quite odd. Maybe they're the people that paid for the extra things for me? Oh well, at least I know that I can go to them with anything that I needed.

I sat in the chair and watched the work men bring in my new furniture, and after about an hour they were all finished. I was pretty impressed, there was quite a bit that they needed to bring in.

"The crew that sets up your furniture is here now ma'am. Shall I send them up?" One of the work men asked me.

"Yea, that would be great." I told him.

I was still in the chair when one of the work men came in and asked me what furniture needed to be put together. I told him the entertainment center, the bed frame and the mirror that went onto the dresser.

Another crew man came in and the two work men were off to putting it together. After 15 minutes or a little more, they were all done. I really couldn't believe that they were all done already.

"Well, have a good night." The two workmen said and they left.

The place looked really good with all of the furniture and stuff in it. I didn't purchase a table because I would be the only who ate here, so what was the point? Maybe when it gets close to around the holidays I'll purchase one.

I realised I was a bit lonely around the apartment. I didn't even have a t.v... I knew I was forgetting something after I left the furniture store. Oh well, looks like I can go get one now.

I decided to go to Best Buy. I know that they have really great brand name t.v.s there, so why not? I knew I could get a good deal. A lot cheaper than any other place I've gotten a t.v. before.

I picked out a 72 inch flat screen. It was a pretty good size, and it would fit in my entertainment center perfectly.

I went to the first check-out lane that I saw was open. There was only one other person in line so I thought I could use the wait. I wasn't really paying attention when the guy left, so the clerk said "Next." and I got my t.v. purchased.

I was walking out of the store, with an employee of Best Buy carrying my t.v. when I heard my name.

"Savannah!"

The voice sounded really familiar, I wasn't sure who it was though. I turned around and it was Tracy.

"Oh thank God it's you! I thought I was just yelling at some stranger because you didn't turn around at first." Tracy said as she walked up to me.

"Hello Tracy. I have my furniture in my apartment now. I just  got a t.v. and now I'm going to go to the grocery store to get some food. I'm tired of having to eat out all the time. Now I don't have to!" I exclaimed with a big smile on my face.

"Um, excuse me but do you think that we could go to your vehicle ma'am? This t.v. is getting really heavy." The employee asked me.

"Oh right! Sorry about that!" I said and finished the walk to my car with Tracy and the employee behind me.

Had the backseats pulled down so that the t.v. would fit in the trunk. Thank goodness it did.

"Thanks a bunch, have a great day!" I happily said and waved at the employee. He didn't say anything back, he just walked off. "Well that was sorta rude. But I don't care, everything for my apartment is coming together and should be finished here pretty soon."

"I'm really happy for you! I was actually wondering when you were going to get your furniture. I would've texted or called you but I don't have your number." Tracy said.

"Oh, here it is." I wrote it down on a little piece of paper.

"Thanks! I'll text you when I get home verifying that it's me later on. Are you excited for classes? They're coming up in like a week and a half!" Tracy said excitedly.

"Yea I actually am. I didn't ever think I would be excited to have classes begin again because I never was in High School. I thought High School was supposed to be some big exciting thing but it actually really wasn't for me. College is a new experience so I'm really excited. And it's only 2 classes per semester so I don't think I'm ever going to get tired of it."

"Yea me too. Honestly, I don't know very many people here. But I like you, you seem like a really nice person, and there really aren't many at Wayne State. I tried to talk to a couple of them but they just turned around and walked away. So when you walked in the room and we started talking I was really happy. I consider you my friend if you don't mind?"

"No, I don't mind." I told Tracy. "I consider you my friend too. I really just don't want to talk to a lot of people because I know how bad people can stab each other in the back, so I hope we grow close."

Tracy happily smiled. "That really does mean a lot to me. And I don't like get to knowing people much either. Well I know that you have grocery shopping to do, so I'm going to get out of your hair." Tracy said and gave me a hug.

I hugged her back, "Don't forget to text me alright?" I yelled to her as she was walking to her car.

"I won't!" She hollered back.

I got into my car, and went to the grocery store. It was a bit weird though. I could go to the store and buy whatever kind of food that I wanted, without getting lectured. That was one thing I could not wait for when I graduated from High School.

Usually I am a pretty healthy eater, but I bought all of the things that I really like to eat and make. Which a lot of them were really not all that healthy. So in my head I told myself that the next time I go to the grocery store, I would by more healthier things to eat.

I wasn't at the store for that long, but I was so happy to get home. It was about 3 in the afternoon and I was hungry. Thank goodness I bought my favorite snack: popcorn. I could eat popcorn all day everyday if it meant not gaining weight and breaking out almost everywhere on my face.

When I got home, it was about 3:15. I put a bag of microwave in the microwave for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, and while it was popping I changed into a pair of sweatpants.

When the popcorn got done popping, I went and laid down on my bed. Oh my gosh did it feel good to lay on the bed. I checked my phone and saw that I had a text message from a number that I didn't recognize. I opened it up and it read:

Hi Savannah, it's Tracy.

I texted her back saying:

Thanks for letting me know :) I'll be sure to save your number

I ate a little more popcorn and laid my head down on a pillow. I didn't wake up until the next morning.
