"So Luana...is in Stellan's body because she used some suspicious potion to get away from her mate, but you two met, you are mates so it made poof.....and then this" Stellan's grandma, whose name is Emily, summarized basically our romantic love story till now.

Our children will have a hell of a bedtime story...but I will have to cut out the part where I admit that I had no clue how boys pee.

Children? Liv's excited voice perked up.

You are planning our future, that means you won't leave our mate.

I thought we were on the same page, Liv. I can't really leave anymore.

"Yes" Stellan yawned in response.

Emily turned to me and asked the question I bet Stellan is also asking himself "Why do you want to avoid your mate, dear?"

I avoided their gazes, Stellan's the most prominent, his eyes like knives boring into me.

No need to bore holes into me, you have two of them now isn't that enough?

"Some family issues, my family can be...a little brutal with outsiders. I wanted to cut all ties before I meet my mate" I gave them a weak smile. Stellan stared at me with his usual blank face.

I am not lying, they have no idea how true my words are.

"Mhm..you two know that I won't let you two leave, right? At least not before I get to know you Luana, I am not going to let my grandson leave with a stranger, Mate or not" Emily said.

"Grandma," Stellan spoke "If she wants us to leave we will leave."

Emily's eyes squinted at Stellan's strong demand, his word was absolute, he meant what he said and nothing can change that.

"Jeffery, bring Luana to Stellan's room" Emily's voice strained.

Jeffrey stood up and his gaze went between Stellan and me, confused to who he should bring up. Did she refer to my body or mind?

I followed him seeing that the answerwas obvious, Stellan's calm gaze followed me until I was out of sight. I stopped near the room, my ears waiting for their words to fly around. The way Emily glared at Stellan I hope words are the only thing that will fly.

Jeffrey didn't try to drag me up, the old man winked at me and stood beside me waiting for the two silent dragons to spit fire.

"What is this Stellan! You gave up your title, you are ready to give up your family, your home just for her. I know she is your mate, but you didn't even try to convince her" Emily sounded fustrated.

Stellan was silent for seconds, his next words came out clear and calm. The opposite of his angry grandma.

"Why should I chain her to a place she doesn't want to be?" Stellan asked.

"You don't chain her, she would learn to love the pack and stay on her free will" she shot back.

I doubt that Emily.

"That doesn't change the fact that I would hold her here against her will in the beginning. I can't live with the fact that she would be unhappy here. She is not a property I can keep by my side, Grandma. She is my mate. You know I would have given up the title sooner or later to search for her, in the end it would have played out the same" my eyes widen at his words. It was the first time I have heard him say so much.

I would have swooned at his sweet words but the fact they came out in my voice really took away from the effect.

Still sweet as honey.
