The rain hit the roof, creating soft pitter patters. I stared out the window. Honestly, I hate the rain. So much. Like, want to go to the beach? Well boohoo now you're stuck in your own home. I sighed and moved away from the window.
I walked upstairs and into my room. I wonder how all my friends are doing... I moved out ever since that incident with the whole 'pew pew explosion' Tord caused. My phone vibrated. I took it out of my pocket and checked. Speaking of friends... Edd opened up a new group chat, inviting me, of course. Who wouldn't? I'm a great person.
Well.... Maybe I shouldn't say anything right now... Maybe he accidentally invited me? Yeah. Probably.
I turned off my phone and turned on the TV. Might as well play some video games, right? Overwatch sounds fun right now.

I swear to God. I am going to March over to their house and murder them. All my phone does is vibrate at this point! I checked the messages.

My phone blasts an alarm. Startled, I took a closer look at my phone. It's a PSA? I clicked on the notification. It read:
PSA PLEASE READ:
THE REGION OF [INSERT REGION HERE] IS CURRENTLY UNDER ATTACKED BY UNKNOWN SOURCES.
BY ALL MEANS NECESSARY DO NOT GO CHECK THE SOURCES OF SOUNDS.

The alarm faded into static noises and eventually stopped. I stood up and wandered around my house, closing blinds, locking any unlocked windows, and locking the doors. Before I took a step more, a very close sounding explosion occurred.
I raced down to the basement.
I sat on the ground and waited. And waited. I eventually got a text from Edd.

E: Y/n! Did you get the PSA? Are you okay?????
You: Dude, I'm fine. Are you okay?
E: I'm fine, Matt and Tom are too, in case you were wondering.
You: Okay good.

He stopped responding.
