How You Met

Mystery

(This is basically what happened in Nightmare, but the dialogue is different because I can't remember every word exactly. :3)

I was walking to work one day with my co-workers, Alfred and Kao. When we arrived at work, we noticed our boss was missing. He's usually very early, so this worried me.

"Do you guys know where Boss is?" I asked.

"N - No, but it's weird that he isn't h - here..." Alfred said.

"Hm...maybe he got stuck in traffic?" Kao suggested innocently.

"Kao, we didn't see any traffic on the way here." I responded.

"Oh yeah! Whoops! ^^"

I giggled and ruffled his hair. "You're too cute, Kao."

"I know!"

Just then, a Cheshire-looking cat walked in, wearing...our boss's clothes?!

"Hello, I am your new boss~" He spoke, his blue and green eyes landing on me.

"O - oh no..." I manage to squeak out.

"Oh yes, my dear...~" He replied.

I looked to Alfred and Kao. They both looked scared, but Alfred...he was paralyzed.

The cat seemed to notice. "Ah, Alfred, did you miss me~?"

My eyes widened. "Alfred...? Y - you know him...?"

The cat answered for him. "Of course he does! We're best friends!"

Alfred recovered from his state of paralyzation and snapped. "WE'RE NOT BEST FRIENDS, MYSTERY! YOU KILLED MY PARENTS!"

Kao and I gasped, but the cat, Mystery, only glared at Alfred. Then, he grabbed Kao.

"What are you to Alfred?" He asked calmly.

Kao stared him in the eye. "I'm his friend!"

Mystery threw him down and grabbed me by my face. "What about you, darling?"

"I'm...his friend..." I answered hesitantly.

Mystery smirked and brought me closer than we already were. I felt my face grow hot as he grabbed my waist and smashed his lips into mine.

"Mystery...Let her go..." Alfred whispered.

Mystery did. "Do you like her, best friend?"

Alfred didn't respond, making Mystery smirk again. He stuck his face into the crook of my neck.

"You're mine now, darling~" He purred.

I couldn't respond, only stand there, shocked.

Mystery finally pulled away. "Get to work now...I'll be in my office~" He then walked off, leaving the three of us alone.

I don't know what just happened, or why I liked it...

Rex

I was walking to a book signing for my favorite author, Rex...um...I never really pay attention to last names...

As I arrived, I saw many people were here too. Who knew so many people liked his books, too?

I entered the building, the first person I saw being Rex. I had never seen him in person before. I felt my heart race, but not because I was excited. I think...MAYBE...I have feelings for him...

I waited in line for him to sign my books, all the while practicing what I would say.

As I got closer, I noticed he kept glancing at me. Wait, at me? Or someone else? Oh dear, I don't know.
