CHAPTER 3: Truth Or Dare
Now I’m on my sixth grade. I will forget everything that’s in my past. I won’t let anyone bother my feelings anymore.
“Class, this is Suzzie Walter. She is a transfer student from Los Angeles and she will be in our class.” Mrs. Mendez remarked. Now Suzzie, there’s a vacant sit on the third row. Kindly sit there.
“Hi Suzzie, I’m Amber Lautner and that girl sitting in front of you is Alicia Reebok”
“Hi. It’s so nice to meet you and have new friends here.” She giggles.
“Yah” I agreed. “So do you want to join us for lunch?”
“Absolutely!”
We were waiting for the bell to ring. I feel so sleepy whenever Mrs. Mendez is lecturing us. Her subject is English which I find it boring. She was teaching us about Literature. The topic is fun but when she was the one talking, it is useless.
The bell rang and I waited for my classmates to get out first. I don’t want to go out first because we’re 42 students in one class. They were already bumping each other. It is already lunch time and we three, Alicia, Suzzie, and I, went down to our school canteen. There we see our other friends.
“Hey, Alex, Kent, this is Suzzie” I pointed her. “She’s a transfer student. She’s in our class and I want you to be good with her.” They both Nodded.
“It’s nice to meet you Suzzie. Where are you from?” Kent reached out for his hand to have a hand shake with her.
“I’m from Los Angeles. It’s nice to meet you to both.” Suzzie giggles.
Basically, Alex is my GUY best friend while Kent is courting Alicia. Alex is in the same grade as ours while Kent is on the seventh.
“Guys, meet up after school. Let’s go to my place. It’s Friday so let’s have some fun” Everyone nodded. Every Friday, I always invite them to go somewhere. It’s really to tiring to go to school for 5 days in 9hours. I always wanted to relax my mind to lessen my stresses in studying.
We met after school at the quadrangle. We walked to my house and also stopped by to the grocery store to buy snacks.
When we get there, we first do our assignments. After that, we watched a movie and eat pizza. Now is the time to play my favorite game. TRUTH OR DARE. And so we played.
“Alicia. Truth or dare?” I asked
“Dare” She answer.
“Ok then. I want you to kiss Kent in his ears and lick it.”
“No way! I’m not going to do that”
“Oh yes you will. You know the rules . Do it or your hair will be cut off” I frightened her.
“Ok fine.” She answered irritated.
“Amber, truth or dare?” Alicia asked
“Dare of coarse” I said confidently.
“Alex, put a grape in your mouth. Amber, you need to get the grape using your mouth and tongue.” She commanded.
“Yeah sure, that’s easy” I said. What the fuck Alicia! I would like to tell her that. She knows that Alex is my best friend then she wanted me to kiss him! I know it’s not a kiss but it seems to be like that already!
Alex put a grape into his mouth and now I’m scared doing it. I gently lick his mouth for him to open it and search for the grape. It was quite hard to get because it’s slippery but I’m trying my best not to touch his lips with my mouth. I don’t have my first kiss and I don’t want to have it now. There it goes! Success! When I got it, I spit the grape out so quickly. It was really disgusting.
“Watch out, amber. You almost spit that to me. Eww.” Kent said in disgust. “So suzzie, truth or dare?”
“Truth” she giggles.
“It was your first day of school today, so who do you find attractive?”
“Don’t I have choices for my answer?”
“No. It’s in your opinion” I said
“But I’m shy” she’s blushing.
“Oh, c’mon. We won’t tell anyone.”
“The one sitting in front of me” she giggles. We all got shocked. It was Kent. Alicia’s face grew red. I think maybe she’s jealous. Everyone got quiet so I asked Alex. Truth or dare.
“Truth”
“Now is the chance to know who’s the girl you like. Who is she anyways?” I asked. Because whenever I asked that, he never wanted to tell me.
“You.” He answered quickly.
“haha!” I laughed sarcastically. “Seriously, answer that properly. You know the rules that if you…”
He stopped me from talking “I’m serious. I like you ever since we met. I like everything in you. I like you Amber.”
I looked at him astonished. “Ok then. Game over. It’s quite late. You must go before dark.”
“But I haven’t got the chance to play” Kent protested
“That’s fine. We can still do that in some other day. It’s quite late already.” I said. Now we say our goodbyes. I am still bothered in what Alex said. I don’t like him. I only want him to be my friend. Now I feel irritated.
