Chapter 6- The Big Night

Soarin POV (Point Of View)
Just after I asked her, my heart is doing backflips right now. She answered me yes! I feel like the happiest stallion alive. Ok I'm home now, it's still early so might as well do something valuable with my time. Ok should I do something nice with my mane or just leave it? Should I get something for her? So many questions I'm asking myself.

Ok so I'm going out to get a few things before the date, soaring up high into the air I go rushing through the chilly wind I go. I'm now nearby a flower shop with pretty petals which reminded me of Rainbows pretty eyes, idea! Quickly I fly towards the flower shop and I'm trying to find the prettiest flower I see beyond my eyes. So many choices to pick but none of them are good enough, found one. It's a rainbow petaled flower which are filled with happiness and sparkles beyond, smells like a strong lavender I'll take it. I put it up to the counter and it was five bits, the mare asked me who was the flower for and I said it was for a special pony.

Now I'm back home grabbed some lunch, got my flower and I need to find where to dine for tonight and I have to make ure Rainbow doesn't see me. But what if she already planned where were going? I'll ask her. I'm flying towards Ponyville once again, this is my second time this week and I'm just nearby her house here goes nothing. *Knock knock knock* I'm waiting patiently awaiting her arrival to the door, I hope she's not surprised.

"Hey Soarin, didn't know you would be here." She smiled at me "What are you doing here anyway?"

"I was just wondering if you booked a restaurant or do you want me to choice for you?" Phh good call, I'm pretty sure I will have to do it though. I hope I get to choice.

"Oh yes I did choose one, I know a stallion is supposed to treat a mare but you're just really sweet and kind to me so I thought when I got back I might as well choice and don't worry, its really. Tasty. And. Delicious. To feast onto," Rainbow replied in a flirty deep tone.

"Alright then Dash, I get it you want to treat a stallion and I'll let you so I guess I'll see you tonight then hmm?" I asked in a little bit of a cuter tone.

"I will definitely hot stuff, bye" Rainbow replied.

"Bye sexy," I shot playfully. She giggled to the response and I even saw a little bit of a blush on her face and I left.

"Ok girls I'm back so......um, why are you all looking at me like that?" I had my best friends over at my house including Starlight, they were all looking at me . in a way I've never ever seen them in.

"Wow, so you like him dontcha Dashie?" Pinkie asked me.

"Yes I do, wait not like love. I know its not my style though but I've had it for a long time now let's stop talking about it. I only told Rarity about cause she's the best pony for this right now," I spoke up. I blushed the entire time while I heard my friends backchat behind me talking about Soarin. "Y'know I can hear you guys right?"

"Oh RD, shoot ah had no idea ah mean the last pony in Equestria ah would expect that would be that youare in love," AppleJack replied.

"Yeah I have to agree, you only care about your reputation thing. What about you saying that one time that "Rainbow Dash cannot fall in love because it's total uncool" hmm?" Twilight winked at me.

"Well, I'm really happy for you that you are in love, how long?" Fluttershy asked me. My face was red as Big Macs coat colour I heard everypony was giggling.
