After living with Ash for a few months in Willow Wood, Casey had grown to love the simple Village. She had been helping out Ash in her Restaurant and had been running errands around town for friends. She was happy. She had found her brother, friends, and happiness. But one thing still bothered her.

Where we're her parents? Were they okay? Why were they hunt down? She had been wondering since she was seven, but now her curiosity grew.

"Oh come on Kadence, it's not that crazy is it? I need... We need to know. It's our parents! How are you not curious?" Casey asked her brother.

"I am, I just.. have other things on my mind I guess," He explained.

"Oh come on honey," Rose said. Kadence, Casey, and her were eating lunch together on the top floor of one of the guard towers. Rose was sitting next to Kadence with her arms wrapped around his and her head on his shoulder. Casey had grown to forgive her. They had grown to be pretty good friends.

"I think you should try to find out more," Rose suggested.

"It's just not the most important thing on my mind right now. I would like to know but it's not super important to me. I mean we didn't even know them very well. I barely remember them, plus it's been 10 years."

"Do you even care?" Casey asked. "They're our parents Kadence. We might not have known them but come on.. they loved us, cared for us, protected us. How can you not care?"

"I care I just... Im just not as into it as you are I guess."

"Fine..." Casey sighed. "I'll find out what happened myself." She stood up and started to walk away.

"What do you mean?" Rose asked.

"I'll do whatever it takes. I'm going to find out."

"Where will you even start Casey? You have no leads," Kadence said.

"I know... I just... I'll find something... somehow.
