The Lost Sister

The Ball

The group was all dressed up and ready to go. They quickly joined the crowd of people walking to the ball outside. Everyone grouped around Ash to make sure no one could see her and quickly snuck into the castle.

"Wow, this is so cool!" Casey said in amazement.

"I know right! I feel like a princess!" Lizzie exclaimed.

"Attention!" A very dressed up older man said from a top and Grand staircase "I am here to announce that Prince Kaiden is here!"

Almost all the girls in the crowd cheered for the prince's arrival, even Charlie. The young prince stepped out and started to walk down the staircase.

"Wow..." Casey, Lizzie, and Rose said in unison.

"He's so... Handsome..." Rose said.

"Yeah..." The other two agreed.

"Hey!" Kadence exclaimed.

"Yeah what about us?" Lynx added.

"Oh, uhh right..." Rose went over to her boyfriend.

"Oh, sorry..." Lizzie apologized to Lynx.

"Eh, I don't see it," Ash admitted.

"Are you crazy!? How is he not the most attractive person you've ever met?" Charlie asked.

"Well don't worry Ash, it's better you don't like him... You do have to pretend to be his sister," Sam pointed out.

By now the prince was down and mingling with a group of girls.

"Alright! Now, they're going to announce the princess in a few minutes so we need to hurry and get up there," Alice said.

"How are we going to get up that staircase?" Lizzie asked.

"There are other small staircases in the hallway over there," Alice pointed to an open doorway guarded by a large man.

"How do we get past him?" Sage asked him.

"We'll have to distract him somehow..."

"I got this," Rose said as she walked over to the man.

"Wait! Rose no!" Kadence yelled trying to run after her. Charlie grabbed his arm.

"Look, do you want to see your sister? Then let her do this. It's not like she's dating him calm down. Get yourself together. She's fine. Now we need to get Ash back there and this is how," she said sternly in his face. She let go of him and walked away. Kadence's face was beet red. Atix and Lynx laughed at him.

"Hey! It's working!" Alice pointed out. "She's luring him away from the door! Hurry we need in there! Sam and I will take care of Ash the rest of you stay here!" Alice and Sam grabbed Ash and they ran for the door.

Once they snuck in Rose politely said goodbye and went over to the rest of them. "Simple," she said.

"I'm going to find the prince!" Charlie said.  She walked away. The rest of the group disbanded. Lynx and Lizzie went to go dance with Rose and Kadence. Casey and Sage stood around and talked.

"Okay don't freak out, but I think the prince is coming over here," Sage said.

"Are you serious?" Casey asked. She looked over to see Prince Kaiden walking torwards them. He stopped in front of her and asked her to dance.

"Uh.. y-yeah," she replied nervously.

They walked off to dance. Sage watched them closely.
