Since that night Andrew kissed Holly and then rushed from her room, she havn't talked to him. She has barly seen him even. She knows he's avoiding her, but right now Holly doesn't mind so much. To be honest, she's a little happy she hasn't been around him. She wasn't sure what to say to him, or what he would even say. Holly felt it would be really awkward.
It's been four days since that night, and four days since she has heard from the person who has been leaving her messages. Holly is happy she hasn't heard anything from the person again. She's starting to think it was all a joke by some student to freak out the new weird girl. She would much rather have it be a cruel joke, then for it to be real.
Holly lays in her bed, not wanting to get up. It's now Saturday, which means she doesn't have away to avoid Andrew today if he stays home. She wouldn't mind sleeping the day away, though she knew she shouldn't waist the weekend. Holly wanted to get out of this place and have some fun away from the thoughts that keep coursing through her mind about Andrew's actions, and even her's. She had kissed him back, but she didn't know why. Though he wasn't blood to her, he was still her brother. It wasn't right and she knew it.
Holly turnd on to her side. Her eyes went stright to her cell phone that was sitting on her night stand. She debated grabbing it, or not. Holly gave in and reached for her cell. Scrolling through her contacts, there wasn't really anyone she could call, or text to hang out with. Most of the numbers were of her friends she had moved away from. She was to far away to go see anyone.
Holly keep scrolling until she got to the S's, a name jumping out at her.
"Sam...?" Holly wondered. Sam was in this town and this whole week of school she had been really nice to Holly, though Holly may have been mean to her a few times. Holly kept pandering on calling Sam or not. Again she gave in and hit the call buttion.
The first ring Holly was anxsuse for Sam to answer. The second ring she was double thinking her plan. The Third ring Holly was about to hang up, but before she did the phone was answered.
"Helloooo there!" Sam sounded actually happy. "It's about time I heard from ya!" A small smirk found it's way on Holly's lips. She was happy that Sam sounded happy to hear from her.
"Ya, I'm sorry. I just didn't want to bug you if you were possibly busy."
"Nope! I'm never busy!" Holly fought a chuckle at pictureing a big smile on Sam's face as she said that. She could tell by her tone that Sam was indeed smiling. "So, what's up?"
"Well, I was going to ask if you wanted to go do something, or somthing.." Holly trailed off, feeling like she was stupid for saying it like that. Holly herd Sam hum, as if thinking about her question.
"Ya, sure! It'd be fun!" Sam hollered making Holly pull the phone away from her ear. It scared Holly how loud and chipper this small girl could be, but she liked it weirdly.
"Ok, cool. So....where do you want to go and what time?"
"Hmmm....well, how about we go to the mall? I can show you all the good stores!" She squicked. The high pitched noise made Holly pull the phone back again. She looked at the phone in her hand still perfectly able to hear every word Sam was saying. Holly was starting to think she'd never have to worry about not hearing something Sam said, ever.
"Uhh...ya sure." Holly laughed into the phone.
"What are you laughing about?"
"Oh, nothing." Holly smiled. "So, what time and where you want to meet?"
"Well, could you be there in a hour, because I don't know about you, but I'm still in my Pj's." Holly laughed again trying not to be to loud.
"Me too. So no, it's not a problem."
