(Vlad's pov in his dream/flashback)
I wake up in the warehouse tied to a metal chair I feel something deep into my arm it was a knife a masked man cut me deep I feel something else blood dripping down my arm then I feel something dripping down my leg more blood
I know I see garroth he was tied up to being tortured the same way Zane as well I looked at the masked man and ask "why" I said he laughed at me
"why do you think boy I want your father to come crawling back with that money I want him to feel what it's like to lose everything!" He yelled he cut me again and again and again until I felt like I was going to faint from blood loss then I hear him speak again "you are worthless you should know that by now if he hasn't come for you you should know he doesn't care about you or your family he's not coming to get you so be ready for a whole lot of blood hahaha!" He took his hood off it was.....

(Vlad's pov awake)
I wake up feeling sweat down my face it was just a dream it was just a dream I kept thinking to myself there not hurt anymore it was gone the man's gone but what one thing that the man said stayed in my head worthless again worthless and again worthless that were played over and over in my head I can't take it anymore
I grabbed my knife and went over to the bathroom being careful not to wake anyone up I look at my old scars one that he gave me and I cut it all the way to wear it ended and again on the other arm tears going down my face just like my blood going down my arm then I hear another voice 'I love you'
it said 'I love you' it said again "Dante..." I said I grabbed my phone and texted Dante

(D=Dante V=Vlad)

V: Dante you up?

D:  yeah I'm up what's wrong?

V: um can you come over like now

D: I guess sure you ok?

V: just please come I need you right now

D: Ok I'm coming vlad please tell me you didn't hurt yourself!

D: VLAD?

D: vlad please be ok!

D: vlad I'm almost there!

After a few minutes I hear my front door opening quietly and close quiet footsteps up the stairs and then a knock on the bathroom door and then it opened

(Dante's pov)
I see him sitting there on the floor arms covered in blood I quickly go over time and start cleaning off his arms tears streaming down his face "Vlad please talk to me are you okay?" I trying to say load enough so he'll here but quite so I don't wake anyone up he nodded and hugs me for dear life I bandaged his arm and then we quietly went to his room and laid on his bed I look at his tear stained face and snuggle up with him hugging him tight as he sobs on my shoulder after a while we start to fall asleep I smile at my love as my eyes close

(Vlad's pov)
I wake up with someone's arms around me I turn around and see Dante's face he was still asleep I smile as his eyes fludderd open he smiled at me I hear a knock on my door and hear garroth's voice "happy birthday vlad it's time to get up mom's making breakfast we're not going to school today so text dante and tell him you're not going to be there today" he said I blush and look at Dante he looks at me and whispers in my ear "you never told me that you're birthday's today" he said "vlad?" Garroth asked "y-yeah" I said "is someone else in there?"
"n-no" "well I'm coming in" "dante hide under the bed" I said he went under the bed as Garroth opened the door he looked over my room "hmmm anyway I'm going downstairs to help mom make breakfast"
"ok bye garroth!" I said as he left Dante came out from under my bed trying not to laugh after a few minutes Dante climbs out of my window and on to a tree outside my window I went downstairs smiling "someone's happy today, happy birthday little pea!" My mother said "thanks mom" I said "vlad do you want to invite dante over after school cuz he hasn't been here since a few days ago?" I blush "oh ok"

(a few hours later still Vlad's pov)

After school Dante came over or more back to my house he also had a present for me but he said I had to wait till we go to bed he also asked if he could say the night my mom said he could and I smiled.
After dinner we sang the birthday song and ate the cake and went to bed Dante handed me my present when I opened it was a little kitty plush toy I smiled and kissed him and he kissed me back as we cuddled I held Dante and my kitty plush tight and I closed my eyes and went to sleep....
