Chapter 13

Dani
"D-Daniella?" I heard someone ask. I turned around
Oh my god. He's here!
"Kevin!" I yelled as I ran to him and jumped on him
I wrapped my legs around his waist and arms around his neck.
Kevin stumbled back a little, but caught himself and wrapped his arms around me
"I've missed you so much."
"Me too love, me too." Kevin whispered as he kissed my forehead

Aleks
Today was the first day of PAX, I was dressed in my ImmortalHD shirt with the mask that covered my face and holding a sign that said 'Buy this shirt. , gray skinny jeans, my twitch TV hoodie and a blue beanie. It was a little gag, all the guys and I were going to wear their shirts.
Everyone was comatose this morning since we weren't use to waking up this early
We finished setting up and decided to walk around to see if we knew any other YouTubers that were here
Dani stopped walking
"Dani, you okay?" Jordan asked stopping also
I looked to where Dani was looking at it was-
"Kevin!" Dani yelled and ran and jumped on him
"Is that Kev?" James asked walking up to me
"I think so...? Go ahead guys; we'll catch up later."
James and I walked up to the Dani Kevin sandwich or should I say the Devin sandwich?
James took a picture then cleared his throat "Ahem."
Dani unhooked her legs and Kevin grabbed her hips and helped her down
"Hey guys." Kevin said straightening out his shirt
"You two seem to know each other."
Pft, if James knew what I knew. Dani told me everything, and I mean it, everything about their relationship. Dani told me how she would visit her grandparents in Seattle every summer. Then when she was fourteen, she met a boy named Kevin who was thirteen, James' and I's Kevin. They went out and even had a long distance relationship when Dani had to go back to California. They dated and even took each other to their senior prom. Also, they spent as many holidays as they could together. In the end they had a mutual break up. Dani was really busy and stressed with getting her degree and Kevin didn't want to add to the stress. Dani felt bad about not being able to have time for Kevin, but she was happy he understood. They still remained close and sometimes recorded together.
A really personal thing that Dani told me, well Kevin told me this too a while back, but they don't know that they both told me. They were each other's first, when Dani was sixteen and Kevin was fifteen.
"Uh ya." Dani said as she scratched the back of her neck
"We've been friends for a really long time." Kevin said
Yeah. 'Friends'
James rolled his eyes and smirked
"You think we're stupid don't you? I already know about you and Dani because Kev told me, and Aleks knows because Dani told. There, it's all out in the open."
"How'd you know I told Aleks?" Dani asked
"Ya, I didn't tell you."
"I had to pee in the middle of the night and you guys locked the bathroom so I just listened in."
"Wow, thanks James." Dani said crossing her arms
"No problem short stack." James said as he patted and roughed up Dani's hair
Kevin joined us and we continued to walk around.
Once in a while we'd hear a 'hey' or 'hi'
"When does our panel start?" Dani asked looking at her watch
"Twelve." I answered
"Oh, wow we have a lot of time."
The further we walked the more people we saw, it was about tenish, that was when everyone was allowed to come in
A few Nobs came and asked for pictures with us and for us to sign their stuff. It was pretty cool meeting Nobs, Daniguins, and Lovers and whatever the hell James called his subscribers.
A teenage couple went up to Dani and Kevin, the boy was wearing a 'Proud Daniguin' shirt and the girl was wearing a 'Golden Black Hawk' shirt
"Will you guys sign our shirts?" The boy asked
"Sure!" Dani replied pulling out a sharpie from her jeans back pocket "Anywhere specific?"
The boy shook his head
"Is Devin still a thing?" The girl asked as Kevin signed her shirt
Kevin smiled "No, sorry, but we're still really close friends." Kevin answered as he finished signing the girl's shirt
"So what are your names?" Dani asked as she signed the boy's shirt
"Well my name is actually Kevin, and her name is Delenn."
"So your ship name is really-"
"Devin? Yeah it's kind of funny."
"Yeah, well here ya go." Dani said finishing up her signature on Kevin, the teenager's shirt
"Thanks so much!" Delenn said
"No problem! And hey, we ship, it OTP right here." Kevin, our Kevin. God dammit this is confusing. Our Kevin said pointing to Delenn and Kevin
They said their goodbyes and left
"You know what's weird?" James asked
"What?" Kevin answered
"That girl, Delenn, looked like Kevin, and the guy Kevin, looked like Dani. And their ship name is Devin. Pretty weird huh?"
Kevin looked back
"Yeah, that is...Maybe it's a sign." Kevin said as he put his arm around Dani
Dani shrugged and kept Kevin's arm around her
We continued to walk around, but somewhere along the walk Kevin and Dani sat down on a nearby bench.
Kevin
Dani and I didn't want to walk around anymore, we just wanted to talk so we stopped following Aleks and James and just sat down
"I'm really sorry I haven't been texting you," Dani said as she played with the sleeves of her jacket. She did that when she was either guilty or nervous "I've just been really busy."
"Yeah don't worry." I said as I patted her knee "So, you and Eddie?" I asked with a wink
Dani let out a little laugh "No, I mean we flirt, but that's just who we are ya know? Flirters, if that's a word... but yeah, I mean I love Eddie, as a friend that is. Best friend even, but there's this one guy." Dani stopped to bite her bottom lip and look up "He's- he's pretty great."
"Do I know him?"
"Probably, but me and him? It'd never work out."
"Who is he?"
"Well, his name is." Dani looked around then cupped her hand around my ear and whispered the name to me
"I can see it happening."
"Really?" Dani asked as she cocked her head to the side
"Well yeah, I ship it OTP up in this bitch."
"Thanks Vin, it may not be true, but thanks." Dani said as she gave me a side hug
Ah. That name, Vin. Dani came up with it because she didn't want to call me Kevin, or Kev because almost everyone called me that so thus Vin was created!
We caught up while James and Aleks did their own thing
So far everything with Dani was the same except that well you know, she lives in the Creature House. She still has the same quirks as before. Dani still avoided eye contact when saying something serious, would make weird faces when I tried to say something serious to make me laugh, played with her glasses, and bit her bottom lip whenever saying something stressful.
"So pretty much everything is the same." I said
"Yeah, pretty much." Dani said as she played with her sleeves
"I'm coming down in February to spend some time with you guys."
"Really?! That's awesome! I'll give you your Christmas and birthday present then."
"DANI! WE GOTTA GO!" James yelled
Dani rolled her eyes and stood up "I have no idea why he's yelling when I'm TWO FEET AWAY FROM HIM!" Dani yelled back "You gonna come and watch?"
I shrugged my shoulders "Why not? But I don't want to walk."
Dani glared then turned around "Hop on."
I jumped on her back and my feet were practically touching the ground
"Don't even say it." Dani said as she continued to walk
She knew what I was thinking already 'When is your growth spurt going to happen?'
"Hurry up!" James complained
"Hey! I'm carrying someone twice my size, shut up!"
We finally got to the panel and I jumped off Dani's back and walked to a seat

Dani
Yes Kevin and I use to do that all the time when we were together
Strange yes, but we didn't have an ordinary relationship
I sat down between Dan and Jordan
"Hi babey!" Dan greeted me
"Babey!" I said hugging Dan
Slowly the audience filed in then Jordan began talking
"Thank you all for being here we will be taking questions now and will maybe answer or just break out into random skit. We'll take serious questions. I'll pick the first person. Aye uh, yeah you in the back."
It was a guy who looked like he was in his late teens
"How was all of your high school experiences?"
Simultaneously all of answered "Horrible."
Dan picked the next person, another guy
"If you could be any other Creature who would you be?"
"That's actually really hard, well I mean no one wants to be Dani. So maybe Dan" Seamus said
"Hey!"
"Yeah, no offence Dani, but I wouldn't want to be you... I'd rather be Eddie" James said
"If you bought my shirts then maybe I'd think about wanting to be you. I would be... Uh..Nick maybe." Aleks answered
"Probably, Jordan, maybe." Eddie answered
"I'd have to go with Steven." Dan answered
"Eh, James." Jordan answered
I crossed my arms and pouted
"Aw come on Dani, don't be a poor sport." Jordan said elbowing me
"Ugh, fine, I guess I'd be... Seamus."
"Ohhh!" Eddie said
"Cállate." I responded
"Hazme." Eddie said while sticking out his tongue
I flipped him off behind Jordan's chair
James called on the next person, a girl
"Dani, how is it being the only girl creature?"
I glanced to my left and right "Well. It's no walk in the park, trust me. I mean Steven, Jordan, Nick, and Dan are cool, but those four?" I pointed to Eddie, Seamus, Aleks, and James "It's a battle every day. And I mean that! One day I was walking into the kitchen and I got shot at by Nerf guns by them."
The crowd started laughing
"And we do it because we love you short stack." James said
"I feel the love grandpa..."
I turned my head to look at the crowd and I felt something wet in my ear
I turned and there was Aleks and he had his finger in my ear
"DAMMIT ALEKS!" I yelled as I pushed him and kicked his foot
Aleks walked back to his seat and picked the next person
"Will you guys be doing a movie trip to see Bad Grandpa two?" (Pretend they're going to make one)
"Yes actually we are and we have a whole skit planned out already, and well, it's pretty damn hilarious." Dan said
"Yeah, here's a little hint. Dani is going to be in it."
"So if you don't want to watch it, that's completely understandable." Jordan said as he covered my face with his hand
Eddie picked the next person
"Any ideas on making the economy better?"
Aleks put his hands up and closed his eyes
"I got this..." He mumbled then cupped his hand around his microphone "Buy my shirts."
Everyone, and I mean everyone started to clap
We took a few more questions, broke into skit, and just did whatever.
It was such a fun experience! So glad I got to be a part of it and this was only day one
I met so many Daniguins and it was really touching because they told me their stories about how they really want to be something after high school and after college, but their parents are completely against it. To them, I was their inspiration, find what you love and figure out how to make money for it.
"MARSHALL! GODDAMIT IT MARSHALL!" James yelled as Aleks fell on the ground with his messy Marshall wig
"YOU CAN'T GET DRUNK IN FRONT OF MINORS! DAMMIT MARSHALL!" James threw Aleks' flask
Eddie started yelling in Spanish
"THE NATIVE AMERICAN FOUND US!" Aleks said as he stood up and ran out "RUN CHIP!"
James stood up and tried to avoid the Native American man
James fell on Eddie and Eddie 'died'
That was the final skit
So we finished around three thirty
"Thank you all for coming out we love you!" Seamus said as we finished up
We took more pictures and signed more things
Seamus walked up to me while I was signing a guy's t-shirt
"What's up?" I asked not looking up
"Nothing just waiting for you."
"Thanks for being a Daniguin." I said as I hugged the Daniguin and they left
"Enjoy PAX so far?"
"Well yeah! Of course! I mean I got to meet many of my Daniguins, they gave me a lot of gifts, which they didn't need to, but I thought it was really cute, and I learned none of the guys would want to be me." I said as I crossed my arms and glared at Seamus
"Oh come on I was kidding." Seamus said trying to uncross my arms "And hey! If my memory serves me correct, you said you'd want to be me."
"That was only because Dan said he'd be Steven, and he was my choice."
"Mhm.. . Suurree." Seamus said as he was typing something on his phone "We're going out tonight."
"Huh? Wouldn't Avery kill me?"
"What? No I meant Jordan wants all of us to go out tonight to celebrate a successful first day at PAX. What did you think I meant?"
Before I got a chance to answer Kevin walked up to me "I'm gonna go, but I'll see you tomorrow, and you know you can text me." He said in a joking way
"Yeah I know." I said sticking my tongue out at him "I'll see you later."
I stood on my tiptoes and wrapped my arms around Kevin's neck
Kevin wrapped his arms around my waist "Later love." He mumbled into my hair
We both let go and he kissed my forehead and walked away
"I love third wheeling with you and Kevin."
"Oh hush, we're not together, we were just saying goodbye."
"You guys got a past?" Seamus said as he started walking with me
"Sort of, I'll tell you later." I said as we regrouped with most of the guys
We were going to stay for about another two hours then go celebrate
I walked around with Aleks and James
"So, how was it?" Aleks asked putting his hands in his front pockets
"What do you mean? You were there."
"No, he means with Kevin, you two gonna get back together?" James asked nudging me
"I don't really do relationships anymore. Only if the person is really special, then yeah maybe."
"You're such a liar." Aleks said as he smirked and fixed his beanie
"Why?"
"If you had to be anyone else you said you'd be Seamus."
I rolled my eyes "Because there were no other choices, I was going to choose Stevin, but someone told him already, and I felt bad that no one else chose Seamus. So yeah!"
"Bullshit." James said through a fake cough
"Whatever, it'd never work. One, Avery would kill me. Two, Avery would kill me. And three, Avery would kill me."
"So you've thought about this! Ohh!"
"Shut up James!" I exclaimed "I'm just stating the truth!"
"Okay sureee, and that explains why you guys are sharing a room and a bed!"
"Hey! It was cheap okay?! We both chipped in money for it and I'm probably gonna let Seamus have the bed, I'll sleep on the couch."
"Oh, so you couldn't chip in just a little more so you guys could have two beds?" James interrogated
"There was a mix up and we ended up with one bed, lay off!"
"Okay okay calm down you two." Aleks said as he put his hand on my shoulder "Before Dani becomes an ankle biter."
"Hey!"
We walked around and I met a few of Aleks' and James' friends. Unlike Aleks and James they were nice! Shocking I know
It was about five fifteen and we were going to go back to our hotel room to go shower and relax for a while then go back out and stuff our faces.
Seamus opened our door and the coldness from the A/C hit my face as I walked in
"I call shower." Seamus said as he rummaged through his bag
"Have fun." I said as I threw myself on the bed
I took out my phone and looked at all my notifications, mostly from Instagram, Tumblr, and Twitter
For Instagram I was tagged in a bunch of Daniguins pictures and their captions were "My hero." Or "I love her." Etc. Then James tagged me in a picture, it was the one when I first saw Kevin this morning the caption was "The Devin Sandwich" Ha. Ha, very funny James.
I locked my phone and stood up to get my laptop
I really should make a video to my Daniguins, thanking them
I set up my laptop and started to record
"Hey guys! It's Dani and I know I look gross I just got back from PAX, I was there all day and I have not showered yet, so yeah, sorry for the disgusting look. Anyway, I want to thank you guys that came out today and supported me and the rest of the Creatures. And if you didn't come or are going to, that's awesome; I'll see you guys soon! I'll probably make videos like this everyday until PAX is over so be ready to see dirty Dani. Anyway, I want to thank you Daniguins who came up and just talked to me. I know it sounds dumb, but for you guys to come up to me and tell you how I helped you, or even if I helped you through something, or even if I made you believe that you can do what you love and get paid, or something about you wanting to do something and your parents being against it, anything. I'm just happy you guys talked to me, I know that sounds dumb, but to me it's important. It shows that even though the world can be very negative, which it is, there still are positive people out in the world. I never thought in a million years that me yelling at video games or sitting in front of a camera would make people feel better or get through a situation. It just- I don't know, it doesn't have a feeling. Look I'm tearing up, because of you guys! Look what you do to me! Nah, but I'll see you guys tomorrow or later. Bye Daniguins! I love you!" I made a heart with my hand then kissed my palm and blew a kiss into the camera.
"Cute." Seamus said making me jump
"Warn me next time! My heart hurts now, thanks."
"No problem." Seamus said as he shook his head letting all the water from his hair spray everywhere
I uploaded my video and grabbed all my stuff to take a shower
I was probably going to take a while since I had to wash my hair, oh well the guys can wait.
20 minutes
"COME ON DANI! EVERYONE ELSE LEFT ALREADY!" Seamus yelled knocking on the door
I opened the door "Ready."
I was wearing a sports bra that said "game over" and had three heart containers with two empty, a white denim vested hoodie with gray sleeves that was buttoned up so the bra looked like a shirt, red skinny jeans, black boots, and a black beanie.
"Finally, come on you're driving."
Seamus threw me the keys and opened the door
"You know where Palomino is right?"
"Yeah." I said as I walked through the door
"Good, because the guys left already, since someone was taking too long." Seamus said as we walked to the elevator
"Sorry..." I said
"Whoa, I was not expecting you to say that..." Seamus said as we got in the elevator
"Hey! I can be nice, when I want to be."
"Yeah, no shit."
The elevator doors opened and we started running to the parking lot
"It's freezing!" I said as I turned on the car and turned on the heater
"You should start getting used to it, back home is going to start getting worse." Seamus said as he buckled himself in
"I'm definitely going to need to buy three hundred heaters for my room." I said as I left the parking lot
The drive to Palomino was pretty quick, which was perfect because I was starving, and probably going to eat my weight in pasta.
Seamus and I ran inside, which was warm, fantastic!
I slid in the booth next to Aleks and Seamus slid in after me
The guys greeted us and I grabbed my menu and scanned the pastas. Grilled seafood pasta, hell yes that sounds amazing. The pasta was full of prawns, scallops, mushrooms, bacon, and pasta.
All I could ever dream of.
We all ordered our food and somewhat talked, we were all pretty tired.
"Do you know if we turned off the A/C?" I turned to Seamus
"I don't think so...?"
"Crap, it's gonna be freezing when we get back." I said as I pulled my jacket closer into me and fixed my beanie
"We can turn on the heat, when we get back."
"Yeah, true." I said as I nodded and drank some of my water
Our food came fairly fast since there was little to no people in the restaurant, maybe because it was so cold outside.
The waiter put down our dishes and I swear all the guys got steaks.
"The manliness levels are through the roof." James said as he lifted his plate in the air
We all laughed and started to eat

40 minutes
Dani
Food coma; that is the only way to describe how I feel right now
I slid down the booth chair and groaned
I glanced at my plate that was once three pounds, but is now completely empty. There wasn't even sauce left on my plate, I used bread to scoop it off.
The waiter came back with menus in his hand "So, any desserts?"
We all groaned
"Okay, guess not. Um, check to whom?"
I raised my hand and he put the bill in my hand
I reached my hand into my pocket and pulled out my credit card
"Thanks babey." Dan said
The guys all said their thank you's and then slowly left
"Soo...Ready to go?" Seamus asked standing up
"Let's see if I can fit through the door first."

We got back to the hotel and opened our room door
"Holy shit its freezing." Seamus said as he walked up to the thermostat and pushed a few buttons
I grabbed some black sweatpants with a white muscle tank that said 'Spacey' with a rocket ship and a moon on it
I walked out of the bathroom changed and it was freezing!
"Geez, can't you push the little button up and make the room warmer?" I walked up to the thermostat and pushed Seamus out of the way
I pushed a few buttons and it just got colder
"Great job Einstein, it's even colder than before." Seamus walked into the bathroom with clothes in his hand
I messed around more with the thermostat and nothing was working. Maybe I did break it...
I threw on my 'will work for concert tickets' sweater, a beanie, and my black and white weed socks then jumped into bed
"Just try not to steal the blanket." Seamus said sliding into bed
I laughed and pulled my beanie all the way down my face
I shivered and scooted closer to Seamus, who opened his arms inviting me in
"Thanks." I mumbled, scooting even closer
I rested my head under Seamus' and fell asleep

Seamus
Daniella Maria de Leon Sanchez, the genius, thought she was smarter than me and tried to fix the thermostat.
She made it even worse; it's like a freezer in here
I slid into bed and Dani started shivering, as a response I opened my arms and she jumped at the idea
She rested her head under mine and fell asleep, as I did.
It felt nice to have extra warmth, for a while that is, before Dani took it all

Next day-
Dani
I woke up to a light snoring in my ear
Slowly, I pulled away from Seamus' embrace, grabbed my clothes, and ran to the bathroom
I learned this idea when I use to visit Kevin, turn your hairdryer on high heat and stand in front of it while you change
I laid out my options and stared.
Which shirt?
My options were the blank is my favorite Creature, when I stayed with each guy they gave me their shirt as a present
Aleks gave me like three
Eh... I guess I'll wear my Kootra is my favorite Creature shirt, which was red, so I wore tie dye black and blue skinny jeans, a heart container necklace and a green way finder two necklaces that my Daniguins gave me, my gray jacket from last night, red and white high tops nikes and a gray beanie.
I finished my business in the bathroom and walked out
Seamus was still asleep,so I took it upon myself to wake him up
I took my shoes off and started jumping on the bed
Right when I thought it wasn't working I felt Seamus grab the back of my knee and I buckled my knee and fell back
"You could have just told me to wake up." Samus said as he covered himself with the blanket
"Yup, but nah, I decided not to. Come on get up! It's eight thirty already!"

The door flew open and there was James
"WAKEY WAKEY! IT'S DAY TWO OF PAX!"
Ah... And the craziness begins. Again.
