You give me butterflies I talk to you and my stomach drops.
Even if I just talked to you, I miss you.
Your comfort me
Your lips I can still taste them
Your hug is still in my mind
Wrapping myself up next you is the best thing I've ever had,
But you give me butterflies my heart skips a beat it flutters away, and it breaks all at the same time
I like you I do but these butterflies they stop me
I can't get the words out that I want to say I just need a sign
Are the butterflies it
How will I know
Butterflies, please take control. I can't do this on my own,
I want to laugh I want to cry it makes me lose every piece of my sanity
These butterflies you give me
I'm hanging on every single one
Your little words, the whispers, the stares,
How our hands just fit like they are made for each other
Your touch sends butterflies strait to my heart letting it beat out of control
Your warmth makes the butterflies melt it to a creamy souffle,
Delicious is the taste of your lips pressing against mine then pulling away leaving me with butterflies
Why won't they fly away so it can be just me and you all the time.
Time it stands still and moves way to fast the ticking of the clock sends my butterflies into shock. They don't know what to do they pull my body into a spin and now I'm on top of you.
Letting the butterflies take control I can't do it anymore these butterflies are nonsense leaving me to go on and on. No stopping for me because these butterflies are just it, they are well just butterflies you see nothing special for me just butterflies.
