Gianni.

I woke up in Larry's arms, with our daughter between us. I stared at them both, how much they look alike. I caressed his cheek gently, with a slight smile. But that ended when I heard knocking on the door downstairs. I got up to see who it was. When I got down there I opened the door to see a puffy eyed Laurent. And to make things worse, the girls' door opened, meaning that Lauren was up and about to come downstairs.

"Laurent?" I said softly.

"Is she here?"

"Who?"

"Lauren." He said roughly.

"Huh?" I heard a tiny voice behind me say.

"Can I talk to you and her?"

I nodded and let him in.

He sat on the couch, looked so dead inside. I sat beside him and put Lauren between us.

"I don't know what to do, Bestfriend."

I looked at him with a frown.

"I know, believe us, we're so sorry."

"Do you think she still loves me?"

"Of course. But we want you to live your life and you seem really happy with Jessica."

"She broke up with me."

"Well I'm sorry to hear that."

There was a long pause. He was just staring at Lauren. But her being the shy "twin", she hid her face in my lap.

"So..." Lau started. "I'm a Daddy?"

"Gia get up." I said to Lauren, calling her by her shortened middle name.

"Tia, Lawwi fund her dada and I can't find mine." She cried.

"But I right here." He said, sadly, his English breaking.

"He my dada?" She said with wide eyes.

I nodded, watching her hide her face with her hands.

"What's wrong? You no happy?" Lau said, a tear sliding down his cheek.

"I want my dada." She cried, reaching up to him.

He didn't hesitate to lift her into his arms. He held her close as they both cried.

"I so sorry bebe. I had no idea what happen. I would've stay so I can see you grow and see you walk. I never wanted to miss that." He whispered in her ears.

"Okay dada. It's okay. Je t'aime papa." She said slowly.

He cried harder as he heard her words.

"Je t'aime aussi ma fille."

I gave them time and went back upstairs to my family. I checked to make sure they both were both fine. Then I decided to go to Shauna's room.

"Hey girly." I said softly, seeing her standing at her dresser.

"Hi." She said softly.

I knew she was sad. She's normally say 'hi hun' or 'hey baby cakes what's shakin eggs and bacon.' But 'hi' is just... sad.

"Not doin too good-"

"I know he's down there..." she shut me up quick. "I don't have to explain do I? Because if I do I'm gonna yank my fuckin-"

"No it's over. It's done. I told you I got it."

"What?" She cried, covering her mouth. She stumbled back a bit.

It hurt so much to see her this way. It's always been me who was hypersensitive to anything dealing with Larry or Larri. But seeing her, ready to drop to her knees. She was completely distraught.

"He knows. He came to the door, knowing." I said, cautiously.

"Ohhh" She cried, falling to the floor.

I quickly ran to her side, holding her close as she sobbed over my shoulder.

"I'm not ready." She breathed.

"I know, baby. But we're here. It's over. Okay? The girls have their fathers. Gia doesn't have to cry anymore about her friends having daddies and her not."

"But he hates me. I know he does. Gianni! I love him so much. I just can't bare the heartbreak. What if he resents me? I can't take it." She said, crying harder.

"You spend all of this time, being quiet. You never took the time to help yourself heal and now these half ass healed wounds are busting wide open. He doesn't hate you. He doesn't have the option. Remember. Shauna, remember! It's me and you against anything. Nothing and no one, not even the men we love, can break us apart. They can try to tear us down but we're the omega."

I heard the door open and looked up to see Gia. She looked at her mother with fear and worry.

"Momma?! Momma what's the matter?"

"Nothing baby, mommy's just having a hard time dealing with your Daddy right now Okay baby?" I said to her.

"But why, momma?"

"Because baby doll, she-" I stopped talking when I saw Lau come behind her and peak at Shauna.

He gasped when he saw her looking down at the floor. The way I was holding her you'd think she'd passed out.

"Shauna. Ça va?"

She got up and raced to the restroom. He got up to follow her.

"Come on, Love." I said to Gia. "Mommy and dada need to talk."
