Hey skittles,
Remember to vote and comment.

I look at the phone and it's a quarter past seven.
I hate being late.
And the streets are closed. The cars are literally not moving one inch.

" Mil can we walk? We'd be there faster." I ask her.

" Yeah. But we're wearing heels Jess, I can't walk in those." She looks hesitant.
" You can take them off. But that's gross, come on I can't take this anymore." I tell her. While opening the cab door and start walking to the side walk.

Mil pays the cab and steps in foot by my side.

" We're so late." I tell her.

" Yeah. Let's just hurry up. Better late than never showing up. " I roll my eyes at her.

We walk a few blocks and when I see the building I feel like I wanna crash to the floor. These heels are killing me.

I take the two cards out and pass Mil hers.
I sniff the card. I internally smirk.
Smells good.

The bouncers on the door are not the same from yesterday's evening. Then again, yesterday we were here 'round five, their shifts are probably over.

We hand them the cards and one of them walks in front of us to the club. Once inside he hands the cards to another huge Hulk. He signals for us to follow. The place is really crowded. I'm wondering how the people on the dance floor are breathing.

It's really dark. I spot a set of white leather couches by the end of the place with neon lights on every table. Cliché.

We walk on a set of stairs then the bouncer on the huge glass door opens it for us. We step inside and it's like another place. This place has quiet music. The loudness of the dance floor downstairs is nonexistent. It's dimly lit but enough lights, not like the darkness downstairs. This lounge is very elegant.

I search around the room to see if Mason is here.
I don't know if he was coming or not. He didn't mention anything in the letter, but if I took a wild guess I'd say he wasn't coming. But I wasn't sure.

The bouncer led us further into the back of the room. Then he opened a large black curtain gesturing for us to walk inside.

" Jessica, I'm so glad to meet you again." A voice squealed. And I immediately recognize it. Leila.

I walk to the L shaped booth. And she gets up and wrap her hands around me. Tightest Hug Ever.

" Leila. The pleasure is all mine." I smile at her when she pushes away from me.
" Mila this is Leila. Mr. Owens sister in law. Leila this is Mila. My roommate and best friend."

Mila and Leila quickly shake hands.

" I thought you were into girls last night." Leila suddenly says waving her hand in the air. " You know. Yesterday when you said you live with your girlfriend." She shakes her head.

" Lol. No I meant my girl ... friend." I pause in the middle. Hoping she'd get what I mean.

" Well. It's very nice to meet you Mila. Take a seat please. Mason and Cameron went to the office to discuss a few things when you didn't arrive on time."

Okay. She's very blunt.

" The traffic was horrible. We were stuck in the cab for more than half an hour. We ended up walking the rest of the way. Which was a lot." Mila speaks up.
