Ch 2(Berk)

Toothless's pov

Me and Daybreaker were flying side by side. Our wingtips accidentally brushed, I blushed but I don't think she noticed. I noticed a deadly nadder coming towards us, Astrid!

Daybreaker's pov

I saw a deadly nadder coming towards us. I intently snapped and flew towards it. I was gonna tackle it before realizing there was a human on its back. "Hey! Daybreaker! Relax! Those are friends! Well one of them, the human who's name is Astrid is Hiccups Wife!" Toothless shouted, I growled. "Why don't we introduce ourselves later for now why not go home?" Hiccup asked, "Um... Hiccup.. You do realize this is a Nightfury right?" Astrid asked shocked, "We'll explain later ok?" Hiccup replied.

Time skip

We reached Berk, I gotta admit, it isn't that bad. I swooped down first and gracefully landed on the pavilion. Suddenly I felt all eyes on me, I scowled, "Um.... Why not tell us how you found her?" Astrid asked, I rolled my eyes "First of all let me settle down, I came here only to stay for a month so don't think that anyone here can own me and if you want to have mushy time with your girlfriend Hiccup, do it somewhere else" I said and walked away, I heard a growl "Ok! That's it! What's your problem?! You have no right to talk to the chief like that and if you haven't noticed I am the alpha! So treat us with respect!" Toothless growled, "Listen here, 'Alpha'" I said turning around and facing him, "I'm not your follower so that doesn't make me loyal to you. And your not the only night fury around here anymore so get used to being common!" He gritted his teeth, heh, that hit home. The whole village looked at me shocked. I suddenly saw Toothless's back tali spikes glow dark blue, I growled two can play that game suddenly my tail spikes grew a pale blue. Toothless looked alarmed "Two can play that game" I said "Nobody should care if your an alpha, the amount of respect you give them that amount you should give them back, and if your going to act high and mighty around me then don't expect even an ounce of respect from me" I turned around and stopped "Now, where's my house?" Stormfly was the first to recover from the shock "The third house from the l-left" she managed to stutter, I nodded gratefully at her and smiled and to my surprise she smiled back. I trotted towards my house and I heard Hiccup say "She's one heck of a gal" I smirked, you don't even know

Toothless's pov

"Dang" I said as she left "She's got some nerve to talk to me like that!" Hiccup shook his head "The other dragonesses would have been heads over heels to be your girlfriend but this one seems to hate your attitude" I nodded "Well, she seems nice" Cloudjumper said suddenly, "She has a smile like an angel" Stormfly nodded "I agree" Hiccups mom walked over to us "Now Toothless" she said kindly but firmly "I don't know much about Nightfurys but all I know is that Nightfury females don't surrender easily and I think you should apologize to her" I looked at her as if she was crazy "No! This is not my mistake this is hers! She should apologize to me! I didn't do anything to her!" I complained, just then the dinner bell rang. I jumped up, "Let's just go.. I want dinner before I think of doing anything" I said and walked towards the dinner hall with the others behind me. I felt something zoom past us, it was Daybreaker! She stood in front of us looking panicked "What happened?! Is there an attack?! Should I help?! Who's attacking?!"she asked out of breath, we all looked at her "Relax! That's just the dinner bell" Cloudjumper explained, she frowned "That bell sounds like a bloody alarm!" She exclaimed, she looked at me and smiled.. SHE SMILED?! "Aren't you mad at me?" I asked "Of course I am! But since its dinner time I will be as cheerful as possible" she said cheerfully as she bounded up next to Cloudjumper and Stormfly and walked side by side. I smiled, she's definitely different, we walked into the dinner hall. She looked around before grabbing a fish from somedragons mouth "Hey!" He shouted "Finders keepers!" She exclaimed and sat down next to me. I rubbed the back of my neck "Um, erm, hey.. Sorry about today... I'm not used to dragons speaking to me like that" I said sadly, she smiled that angelic smile "Its fine but this does not only implify on me ok?" She said and nuzzled my snout in a friendly way, "Ok" I said and we shared the fish that she had taken from the deadly nadder.
