Ch 3(Dragon racing)

Me and Toothless were gliding above the trees, he suddenly asked "Hey! Day! Wanna compete for the Dragon race?" I smirked "Why not?" I said lazily as I landed on one of the branches. Toothless close behind, but he landed more clumsily and crashed down and flew up again and this time landed on the branch, I laughed "This is too much fun!" I exclaimed "Watching you stumble then regain your balance only to fall again" he rolled his eyes "Of course" he said sarcastically, I bumped his shoulder playfully "But there is one problem" I told him, he looked at me "What?" He asked, "I don't have a rider" I answered, "Its not necessary to have a rider" he assured, I smiled. Leave it to Toothless to make someone happy

The dragon race was held in an arena which was filled with vikings from all side, Toothless told me there used to be iron bars surrounding the stadium when vikings and dragons were still enemies, I growled at the thought of that, what they had done with Toothless and all the other dragons. I'm still not ok with any of these dragons or vikings.... Not yet at least I thought as I all the other dragon racers taking their place at the starting line. "Hey there! Don't you have a rider?" Hookfang asked flirtatiously, I scowled "I don't need one and by the looks of it I don't trust anyone here. I only wanted to show that I'm not a dragon here to mess with" I explained while his rider and him looked at me startled at my sudden outburst, I rolled my eyes. This is gonna be fun I thought as I crouched low enough to see how many sheep there were but there was supposed to be a black sheep as well and I couldn't see it as expected since we had to find it and bring it when it was the last lap but I had a different plan altogether. I smirked, Gobber started the count down, "Three... Two... One.. GO!!" He shouted, all of the dragons took off in the direction of the sheep, I yawned.. They are so slow compared to me, I'll give em a head start. After they were at a considerablely far distance, I took off at my maximum speed, all of the watchers looked at me with awe. I zoomed past Hiccup who was in the lead and grabbed the sheep which was in Toothless's talons and then Astrids sheep in my other talon and then Fishlegs dragon and and held it in my mouth and then dropped all of them in my basket, all of them looked at the speed I went, and then with my sharp eye I saw Barf and Belch drop their sheep into their basket but being my usual competitive self I grabbed it mid fall and then dropped it into my basket. "HEY! THATS AGAINST THE RULES! YPU CAN'T TAKE THE SHEEP!" Ruffnut bellowed at me, I snorted "YOU IDIOT! YOUR SHEEP DIDN'T REACH THE NET SO TECHNICALLY ITS NOT AGAINST THE RULES!" I bellowed back and then took Snotlout's sheep from Hookfang, the crowd cheered and clapped, I smirked and then from the corner of my eye I saw... THE BLACK SHEEP!! I dropped the sheep which I currently had and then flew as fast as I could and grabbed the black sheep in my mouth. I saw Toothless growl and lung at me, I dodged and swiftly slid from under his underbelly and kicking him in the gut, he 'oophed!' And struggled to stay up, then I felt something on my back, Snotlout was walking on my back looking scared, I scowled and did a back flip causing him to plunge to the ground with a shriek and while I was distracted Astrid almost took the black sheep with Stormfly, I flapped my wings harder and zigzagged over to my net making everyone dizzy and confused, I smirked and then suddenly Toothless bumped me causing me to flap around frantically, and before I knew it Toothless had the Black sheep and then dropped it into the net, I flew as fast as I could to catch it in mid air but sadly.. It was to late.... I let out a loud roar!! "Hello there young lass! Let me tell the scores! Toothless:10 Snotlout:0? Toughnut and Ruffnut:0?Fishlegs:0?Astrid:0?Daybreaker:18?! All eyes were on me, I smirked "You all forgot something, I took all of the white sheep and there were eighteen and the black sheep costs 10 points so Toothless you Dumbass you only got the black sheep so you earned 10 points but I got more since I got all the white sheep in the arena" I explained and landed gracefully below the arena, suddenly the silence was broken and people started Cheering and Clapping, I did a low bow before doing one more lap of the arena and was turning to leave but then I felt someone tap my shoulder, I came fave to face with Toothless "Um.. Hey Day.. They was awesome.. Outsmarting and Winning" he stammered, I smiled "Thanks but this is merely a warmup for my training everyday" I said Simply, they all looked at me as if I was crazy, "What? Something I said?" I asked, they shook their heads "This is the training we do" Toothless said, I shrugged "You guys need more training" I said and then looked at Hiccup "You being the leader should coach them 24/7 and this is your responsibility" He looked guilty and Toothless growled "First of all Hiccup is an excellent coach, Second you don't need to train so much since its irrelevant and unnecessary and Third I bet you I can beat you with anything else" He challenged, I scowled "Oh I'm sorry, can Tis' majesty accept this apology from his fellow peasant?" I asked sarcastically with a tiny bow, grinning. He raised a brow and scowled, everyone tried to stifle their laughter, "And you challenged me didn't you? Well then, no one challenges me and gets away with it" I growled "So what about a little race.."
