Chapter Thirty Eight

*Christmas Eve*

Normani and Dinah were getting ready to go to the doctor's. Normani was in the bedroom getting dressed and ready when Dinah came in,

"Your baby is the size of a mango" Dinah shouted confidentially with a baby week by week brochure in her hand.

Normani couldn't help but laugh as she looked at her girlfriend, "I feel like the baby is a size of a watermelon. I feel huge."

Normani plopped down on the bed and pouted,she placed a hand on her stomach.

Dinah joined her "you look beautiful, and honestly babe you're a dancer you'll lose the baby weight in no time.  You can then teach your baby how to dance or be just like-"

Normani cut her off "Dinah this isn't my baby, this is our baby. I know that you didn't help create it, but you're going to create its life you're going to love our baby, you'll love it like your own."

Dinah pulled up Normani's shirt and kissed her belly "I love this baby just as much as I love you."

At the hospital Camila was preparing to go home for a few hours on Christmas Day. The doctors didn't want her leaving at all but all of her injuries were healing wonderfully, just physical therapy was the only thing holding her back. She has told everyone but Lauren she was going back to the house for Christmas to open presents and eat a meal along with spending time with family and friends. she was really excited. She sent her mom shopping for presents so that way all the girls could get something from her as well as her little sister.

As she was deep in her thoughts when Ally knocked on the door.

"Knock knock Mila, you have a visitor."

Camila looked up from her phone and saw Lauren. She was standing there weakly holding onto a walker without daily physical therapy her walking had declined. You could tell by her appearance how tired she was. She was wearing her old 'Miami softball" sweatpants one of Camila's sweatshirts that was black and said "I love NY." Clearly a tourist when she bought it. She loved wearing her girlfriends clothes. Then she had her hair down and it was messy. You could tell she wasn't feeling great. Her green eyes were shining, she has no makeup on at all. She was wearing slide sandals. Camila couldn't believe Lauren was actually there.

Camila perked up as she saw her girlfriend come into the room. Ally helped Lauren over to the bed and she sat down. Ally left the room so the two could talk.

Ally was standing in the waiting room with Nick. He helped get Lauren here.

"Ally, are we gonna tell your parents about us?"

Ally kissed Nick's hand, that isn't my main priority right now but we will soon."

Ally was terrified. She was afraid her parents wouldn't like Nick. They thought troy was incredible, but they didn't know how her parents were going to like Nick. He searched for ghosts and sometimes contracted the devil. She was more scared about her dad than anything, he wanted someone good for ally not a ghost hunter, but that wasn't all nick was, he was a great guy.

Dinah and Normani arrived at the doctors office. Dinah signed Normani in like always. They sat closest to the door they way when they got called back they wouldn't have to walk so far. Normani looked around, a lot of the women had other children running around and others had there boyfriends or husband's around. Dinah and Normani were the only 2 girls that were there together.

After sitting there for about 15 minutes they were finally called back. They sat in the usual blue room, and Normani laid down on the exam table.

Her doctor Angelina entered the room "Hello Normani! How have you been feeling?"

She smiled "I've been feeling okay. The morning sickness has really reduced a lot. I hardly get sick at all now. I haven't been sleeping that much though, and I have gained some weight."

Dinah smiled "You know the baby is the size of a mango!"

Normani rolled her eyes "I'm so sorry about her."

Angelina gave Dinah a hi-five, "hey don't apologize, at least you're reading the brochures I've given you."

After Angelina wrote down some information on Normani they were ready to the ultrasound. These always made Normani nervous. She was so afraid they would find something wrong with the baby, Normani pulled her shirt up and her little baby bump was revealed, and the doctor applied the cool gel.

"The heartbeat sounds perfect. Your baby is right on track with where it should be. I'm thinking about scheduling an appointment on January 10th to find out the gender if you would like to find out."

Normani didn't hesitate when she answered "YES!"

Lauren was sitting in the hospital bed with Camila and she had her hand on Camila's leg. She leaned in and kissed her forehead.

"I've missed kissing you. I've missed our cuddles, our bed is so lonely without you."

"Lauren..I need to tell you something."

Lauren got tense "yes babe?"

"Nick realized that after everything that's been going on the devil takes over my body because of my innocence, and he's the reason that our house is the way it is. It's awful and the only way to get rid of it is an exorcism."

Lauren hugged Camila the best she could and grabbed her hand avoiding the numerous amount of cords on her fiancé, and having her hand on top with her engagement band on top of Camila's smaller hand, "I know baby, Nick told me. That doesn't bother me. It's going to be okay. I'm not going to leave you."

After the 2 girls visited together for a while, Normani came in to show Camila her baby bump and the pictures from the ultrasound. Dinah sat down on the bed with Lauren and Camila. Ally and Nick were also in the room.

When the room became silent she hit a plastic fork against one of Camila's empty plastic cups.

"I need everyone's attention, I have an announcement to make."

Everyone turned to pay attention to Ally.

"Well as most of you know Troy and I broke up. I was heartbroken, but it wasn't too awful because he didn't believe half of the stuff that happened in the house anyway, so as most of you know Nick is single, well was. Him and I are a couple."

Dinah and Normani had speculations because she had been kissing Nick, and she wasn't exactly quiet about it either. Lauren and Camila were in shock.

The next hour or so consisted of the girls visiting with Camila and feeling complete as a family. There was no talk of the devil or spirits r even anything about the house. This was the first time in a long time Camila has felt like herself, her brown eyes weren't a different color her voice was hers and she had complete control over her body and her mind. She couldn't wait until it was always like this.

It was getting pretty late. Ally and Normani had already left, they needed to start Christmas dinner and had to pick up some Christmas present's for Camila's younger sister Sofia who would be attending Christmas at there house tomorrow. She didn't like having her sister in the house, knowing now that the devil was present and he took Camila because of her innocence. Sofia is definitely more innocent and she's had contact with Cassidy before.

Camila was getting really tired. Her doctor came in and gave her pain medicine it helped her sleep, Lauren gave her fiancé a kiss goodnight and they got ready to go.

Dinah helped Lauren stand got her steady enough for her to walk with her walker. "I love you Camz, i'll come and see you tomorrow."

Dinah clapped her hands together "that makes my camren heart happy!"

A/N I'm back!!!!! Thanks for sticking with me through this journey. I have a few more chapters before this fanfic will be over :( I HATE that i'm ending it, but I have a few more surprises in store for you guys before I end it completely I will be sending you guys through a lot of emotions but I hope you don't mind.
