Basketballs and Love

Annie's Pov

the door of the gym flew open and there stood Hayden. with his hair, all curly and his eye sparkling. so he began to walk towards me as I quickly got up to leave but before I could get out the door he kindly grabbed my hand. I could feel my tears rolling down my eyes remembering everything that happened between us.

Hayden: Annie please don't go.

Annie: Hayden I don't want to talk to you or ever look at you again.

Hayden: I know I hurt you but in some ways, you hurt me too

Annie: what do you mean?

Hayden: Annie i never cheated on you. when you walked around the corner and saw Lauren and i kissing it wasn't what it seemed. i was going to the bathroom like I said and then Lauren came up and started to talk to me. i tried to avoid her but she just kept getting closer. im guessing she saw you and she kissed me. after you ran off i pushed her off me and told her that i will never love her the way i loved you. and you wouldn't let me explain and then you sent to divorce papers to me and it crushed me to sign that paper. i don't know about you but i never wanted anything to happen like that. Julianna, i still love you and the only reason why i came here was to fix thing between us.

Annie: then why did you come with Lauren?

Hayden: because i told Johnney i would bring her.

Annie: i don't understand though, why would you let her kiss you that long?

Hayden: i was in shook and i could move and then i saw your face and all i wanted to do was tell you it didn't mean anything to me.

Annie: i still love you too but the trust still isn't there.

Hayden: that's ok we can work on it, but only if you want too.

Annie: i do

Hayden: ok, Hi im Hayden Summerall would you like to play basketball with me?

Annie: hi im Julianna and only if you want me to wipe you.

so Hayden the man i thought hurt me told me everything. so we played basketball and let me tell you it's really hard to play basketball in heels. so after a wall, i didn't notice but there were more people on the court. i saw Kenzie and Johnny so we played and played until we heard the music stop and then Hayden walked me out to my car.

Hayden: Thanks for letting me explain.

Annie: im glad you told me. and im sorry for not hearing your side earlier.

Hayden: its ok lets put it behind us and move forward.

Annie: sounds good to me.

i was about to close my door when Hayden kissed me. feeling his lips on mine i felt right it felt like life was normal. so i closed my door and said goodbye with a grand smile and drove him. when i got home i said hi to Katie and headed to my room i jumped on my bed thought about everything that happened. soon i felt my self-falling asleep with a smile on my face and i was out.
