Part 2

Jihoon's POV

(A/N i'm basing this part off of wannaone go s1 ep1/2 but just know i won't be entirely accurate as i'm going off my memory and i haven't watched it in months lol so yeah be prepared for inaccuracies)

We are woken up a few hours later to the sound of "Nayana" being blasted at max volume which fills the once silent dorm and makes our ears bleed as we climb from our beds and make our way into the living room, full of a slightly nostalgic but generally sluggish atmosphere as none of us are particularly good with mornings, especially when we are being woken up by loud music.

In the living room, there is red thread everywhere. Crisscrossing through the bedrooms, making loads of mixed up thread trails which block us from reaching our sofa

Originally i thought it was someone's idea of a joke, waking us up with Nayana and putting string everywhere (sounds like something Sungwoon would do) but as i look to the end of the room i see cameras and the camera crew trying to hold their laughter as they see Minhyun and Jaehwan start to dance

Ah, we must be recording "Wanna one go episode 1"

I groan and rub the sleep out of my eyes and make eye contact with Jinyoung across the room who looks just as tired as the rest of us

"What's this?" Daniel asks, finally removing his head from the banister he was trying to fall back asleep on

"Who knows," Sungwoon replied with a yawn, "tell you what, Jisung, I'm beginning to regret having that movie night last night after all..."

Long story short, an hour later everything is in place and we are finally sure about what's going on, the red strings turned out to be different trails linking up members who were to be spending time with each other (attached together by a metre long red string that would be cut by 10cm everytime the pair argued) that afternoon, as decided by our Wannables, and each pair (or triplet in the case of Sungwoon, Jisung and Woojin) would be taken somewhere different.

Unsurprisingly, i was paired with Guanlin and we were now leaving the dorms, red string swinging between us as the sun began to rise, making the shadows dance, neighbourhood glow and the car glitter whilst giving guanlin and i a warm, peaceful and pleasant atmosphere which i hoped would remain with us for the entirety of the day

"where do you think we're heading to?" Guanlin asks me, his head slightly tilted, pouting as he shields his eyes from the sun with his long arms

"your guess is as good as mine" i reply with a smile, as we're ushered into the car by the staff

We get into the car and make excited small talk for the whole journey. The conversations come and go quickly, ranging from talking about the time i kissed Guanlin's cheek after we made it into the top 11 (which i did not expect to be videoed, how embarrassing!) and dogs, but they feel natural and i feel fuzzy all over when Guanlin tells me he's fond of me just as i am of him

Before we know it, we've arrived and are standing at our location which happens to be outside a military base which makes me a bit worried. I'm not the manliest of men (i'm not girly but i'm not exactly "macho" lol) if you couldn't tell and the thought of making a fool of myself in front of Guanlin as i failed to complete any possible task we could be given made my heart beat quicken dramatically

But thankfully, we end up being told we are to be playing "sports games" and move away from the military base and into a beautiful village. Along the way we come across a group of elders who are interested in our doings, we explain that we're idols who are soon to debut and they ask us to dance for them, to which Guanlin (the bitch), volunteers me to do it! I originally think it's a bit embarrassing but the impressed look on the elders and, most importantly, Guanlin's face (he has always liked my popping) makes it worth the embarrassment in my eyes

Although, come to think of it, why do i need Guanlin's approval to be satisfied? I guess it's just because he was the only one there i knew so it didn't matter if they weren't impressed, but why did i feel warm all over when Guanlin beamed and clapped after i had finished? I'm being ridiculous, i should shut up...

But anyway, after that encounter we continue on down the village and pass a chicken shop, which Guanlin and i stop to drool at, and eventually reach the sports hall where Guanlin and i will be playing sports in. However, there's no one around to play with so Guanlin boldly asks the staff if they could play with us, to which they agree to.

Eventually, we are faced with a basketball match against two of the staff members for the reward of chicken. I honestly thought it would be a close match but it turns out Guanlin is utterly fantastic at basketball! His long legs and spectacular legs definitely aided him favourably. We end up steamrolling them winning the match 15-0 and, much to our delight, the win comes with chicken!

Happily, we enter the car and eat our chicken together, satisfied with both our win and the chicken we soon eat it all and i'm too happy to care that i just had way too much to eat. We eventually come to a stop where we wait for the mini van that we'll meet the rest of our members in, but the best part is, we are given ice cream to eat while we wait. As we sit on the bench eating our ice cream Guanlin and i discuss the great day we had and i'm delighted to discover that he enjoyed it just as much as i did. I suddenly feel a rush of appreciation for Guanlin as i realise what a great friend he is to me. He has a great personality and we get along so well, effortlessly. Not to mention he has a really nice face...

Guanlin's POV
I look to my right to see Jihoon staring at me, he does this often but i can't work out why. Honestly, he seems like quite the daydreamer, when he stares at me it looks like he's lost in thought and i can't help but wonder what he thinks about.

Though, i couldn't be happier that Jihoon and i are becoming closer, i have wanted to be a good friend of his since i first saw him in produce 101 and it's so refreshing that we get along so well and i do hope we can continue to be friends in the future. Today was a great day and i couldn't imagine spending the day with anyone else so i'm glad the fans got behind us. I wish to get closer to the rest of my members too, of course! But, until then at least i have Jihoon to fall back on.

Sorry Jihoon, looks like you're suck with me for now

(A/N sorry for the extremely boring filler chapter, i just wanted to get something out so everyone who read the last two parts has something to read if they still care HAHA. But either way, i promise my chapters will become more interesting i just don't want to rush in getting them together otherwise it would be unrealistic i guess.
