"well mom and dad are at work, Christina's at her friends's and its two o clock so i figurrd i should wake you up now" he said in one breath, then he handed me a painkiller and a water bottle.

"thanks" i sat up to take the pill but i still felt his eyes boring holes into my back

"you can't drink like that again, Dani"

"i know De-"

"no Dani. I was really worried about you. I dont want you talking Carter anymore".

"you wont have to worry about that, Dad. Im done with him"

"seriously. The things he said... I dont want you to get hurt. If anyone bothers you just come to me"

"okay D i will" he gave me a small smile and looked down, uncomfortably. "No i never did any of the stuff he said. im as virgin as nun"

"oh thank God! thought wr'd have to have an intervantion or something.." we both burst out into laughter. "Well im going to heaf to the gym. If you need me just call, okay?"

He retrieved into his room and less than a minute later, he went downstairs and i heard the opening and closing of the front door. i lay in my bed for a few minutes before deciding that i shod i get ready for my day. I went into my bathroom that was adjoin

ed with achristina's and looked into the mirror. I had raccoon eyes that were the effevt of not washing off my mascara and eyeliner from the night before. I felt the horrie feeling in my stomach and had to kneel down in front of the oilet to throw up. After brushing my teeth, I went into the shower and spent a good half on hour scrubbing off any remnats of the party. When i got out i quickly put on a pair of denim shorts a simple band shirt. I was about to feed my pet fish, when the doorbell rang.

"sorry dory and reece. I'll be back in a minute" i said to them as i jogged to the door. I swung it open to see...Gabe

"hey" he said with hus signature crooked smile

"hey" i replied. i wasnt trying ri make things awkward, Gabe's been friends with Dean and i since we were two, I couldn't let the kiss make awkward. "uh.. Dean isnt here. he's at the gym

"not here to see Dean. i came here to check up on you"

"why is that?"

"i believe when you carry a drunk girl home and then kiss her, it's you personality to see her the next day"

i expected this cockiness from him. i couldnt sugar coat it, Gabe was a player. H ewas one of those 'em a day, throw 'em away kind of guys. Because of thus and the facts that he is Dean's best friend, i couldnt get involved with him

"dont think so high of yourself. that kiss was mediorce on your part" i said but i couldnt wipe off the smile on my lips.

"half the school's cheer leading team would disagree completely"

"who says im like half of the school's cheerleading team?" he just gave me a wide smile

"yes. I dont knkw about you Dani but i felt somethung"

"alright Dani. You're speaking without thinking, cause if you were thinking would say yes in a hearbeat. So.. im just gonna have to woo you"

"woo me? Gabe whats with your sudden interest in me?"

He looked down and for a sudden moment i thought i saw him blush. "you cant ignore our kiss. well maybe you can but i cant" he looked down at his watch. "well i gotta go but just remember Dani you're gonna be mine by the end of the summer"

"i wonder what Dean would say about this" i said teasing hum

He walked back to his car and i closed my door and yelled a goodbye
