Chp2 (The Blow Queen)

Danielle's POV

"so he hasn't even bothered to call you?" my best friend, Maya,asked.

"not even a text message" i answered

"well then you dont need thay loser! it's summer vacation, we'll go to the beach in bikinis and get you a new boyfriend and i'll put a baplock on his boxers to make sure he stays loyal" i gave her a small smile.

It's been four days since me and carter's breakup. I spent the last few days in my room, at dance practive or in Maya's basement watching every romantic movie available. Carter only had three days until he would be shipped off to some camp in the wilderned with no wifi and he wasn't wasting anytime living it up. Every night a new picture would go up of him at some party.

"lets do something then" Maya said

"it's like 100 degrees outside"

"the weather cools down in the night" she replied

"if you're suggesting we meet up with those hippies again, then it's a no"

"pretty sure they moved to Nebraska and i mean party"

"you can go with Madison or something but i'm not up for a party" i said

"No! Dani, i will not let you spend your sunmer hiding away. We're going to this party and you're going to hsve fun. C'mon for me?" She stuck out her bottom lip

"if i'm having a horrible time within the first hour, i will leave"

"yay! we're gonna forget about stupid boys tonight and get drunk"

I sat in the passenger seat of my car well me and Dean's car as Dean drove and Maya sat in the back. We were on our way to our friends Chris' house for a party. It was a little pas 10pm and sleep was already nudging me.

"Dolphins over Cowboys? Maya, I honestly think you're coming down with something," Dean said with a cocky smirk on his face

"cmom Miami's doing great right now!"

One of the only things they had in common were sports. Maya and Dean both share a love for football and it was one of their main conversation topics. We arrived in front of the large house and parked on tbe curb. From then amount of teenagers on tbe front lawn i assumed the party was in full swing, as we entered the house i saw that i was right

"yo guys thought you'd never come" Chris said with a red solo cup in his hand. "Ladies, beautiful as always" he saud giving both Maya and i a kiss on out knuckles

"watch it Chris you dont want Vanessa to catch you" Dean laughed

" She's not my gf"

"who's not chrissy's gf?" Dean best friend, Gabe said? Throwing his long arm around Dean

His golden blonde hair stood out against his dark clothes. His warm blue stare caught mine and he gave me a wink. "Hey Dani, Maya"

We were about to actually start a conversation, but Chris dragged the boys away to olay some beer pong. Maya jogged over to the nearest drink table and grabbed two beers. She passed one to me. "Let's forget about guys tonight"

"Agreed"

As we meet up with a small group of our girl friends from school, i could see Carter from the corner of my eye in the kitchen with his own group of friends around him. Anger boiled me as i saw him with a smile on his face. He looked like he was so okay with things and he acted as if we hadn't just brokep up. I let out a frustated sigh and concetrated on my friend, Madison, while she talked about her love for the Franco brothers

I lost track of how many beers i had after the first three hours of the party. The music was do loud and i just felt like dancing, so i did. A smile of pure joy was glued to my face and my hands were waving in the air. I lost Maya and Lauren, but i was too happy to cafe. I noticed two guys watching me intenly with smiled on their faces

"hey blow queen! wanna do me a favor? one of them asked

"what are you talking about silly?" instead od answering my question, they laughed even harder and left the overcrowded room

I decided to follow them and i saw that they joined Carter and some other guys. They were all laughing widly so i got closer to listem.

"Are you kidding she was horrible in bed" Carter began.

"what are you talking about Car? i asked madly

"cmon Dani how about one for old times sake? he swung his arm around my waist and pulled me closer.

"we never even ha-" before i could finish i was yanked away from Carter's uncomfortable embrance

I saw Dean clutching the neck of Carter's shirt and Carter.putting hus hands up in defense. "Cmon Dani. Dean think i should take you home now" Gabe said

"we never even had sex" i said

"have you been drinking?" he asked

"we didm't i wouldnt let hum cause i was scared that i'get pregnant" i slurred

I olanted my feet firmly on the ground and crossed my arms "i wanna stay Gabe". This only made hum lift me up iver one if his shoulders

As we left Chris'house, i could see Dean pull back his arm but before i could see him punch Carter, Gabe closed the front door. He opened up the passenger seat of his car and gently put me in.

"you cant get drunk like thus again Dani!" Gabe explained as he drove

"i cant belueve he was telling people i gibe a blow jobs! i never did!" i said

"yeah well we heard some guys talking about you so we went to find Carter" Gabe's warm blue eyes met mine as we stopped at a traffic light.

We were silent for a few moments until a sob escaped my lips. I wiped my cheeck and felt my teard. "I cant believe him. H-he was Che-cheating on me and he e-expexts me to be alright!" i cried

"I know Danu, but you'll find someone else wh"

"i dont want someone else! i just want him" i said, frustated

we pulled up in front of my hiuse and my loud cries became very quiet. Gabe guided me to my roon and laid me onto my bed, but as soon as he dud i sat right back. "Gabe, what if i never get another boyfriend?"

"dont say stuff like that. You're beautiful and could get any guy you want"

"then why doesnt Carter want me anymore?

I stared into his eyes and felt the sudden urge to lean in. He was sitting on the edge of my bed and he began to lean in too. I felt his soft, warm lips on mine within senconds and it felt amazing. He pulled away and he was searching my eyes for an anwer. "i guess he's just stupid" he said

He got up to leave but i got off my bed and pulled him back "yeah. He is stupid" i said before leaning in again.

"Gabe you still here?" we heard Dean call from down stairs.

i put my finger on my lips "shh" i said before nidging him out of my door. i returned to my bed and closed my eyes.
