"Sakaki.....That's lastname sounds familiar"
"Okay now Yuya you can sit by.....Hiiragi Yuzu" instructed the teacher. Yuzu slightly jolted when she heard her name. Nevertheless, she hesitantly rose her slightly peachy hand. Yuya walker over to Yuzu and sat down in the empty desk next to her. The teacher smiled before starting her lesson. "Sakaki...Why does last name sound so familiar to me?" Yuzu mentally asked herself. For the rest of the class, Yuzu kept her thoughts on Yuya.
An hour and thirty minutes later, class was over.
Yuzu grabbed her things and headed out the classroom. "Maybe during Gym I could-" The sudden touch of another person hand on her shoulder made Yuzu froze immediately. "Excuse me. Can you please direct me to the Science Lab?". Yuzu turned around to be face to face with Yuya. "Oh! Um make a right then it should be the third door on your left" stuttered Yuzu. "Thanks" said Yuya and walked off with both hands again in his pockets. "He's so strange" thought Yuzu. She continue to stare at Yuya until the late bell rang.
"Craaaaaapppppp!" Yuzu cursed and made a quick dash to her class.
//Timeskip to Lunch
Yuzu sat at a rounded table with her identical sisters. She slowly poked her food while keeping her eyes locked on Yuya, who was sitting a few tables in front of them. "Yuzu.....Yuzu....YUZU!". Yuzu stopped looking at Yuya and adverted her glance to her green haired sister, Rin. "Yeah?" she replied brushing some her pink hair out her face. "Are you okay?" asked Rin. "Yeah...Why do you ask?" questioned Yuzu. "It's nothing but you been staring at that boy even since lunch started" Rin added. Yuzu looked back at Yuya than back at her sister. "Sorry. It's just that he's so strange and-". "Handsome?" finished Ruri. "W-What!? N-no! Why on earth would you say that!?" yelled Yuzu. Everyone except Yuya brought their gaze to Yuzu's table surprised. Darkly blushing, Yuzu hid her tomato face within the folds of her arms.
"His lastname sounds familiar to me" she mumbled.
"His lastname is Sakaki, right?" asked Serena. Yuzu slowly nodded her head, gazing upward at the indigo haired sister. "Well he could be related to that cold case" answered Serena. "Cold Case?" Yuzu questioned sitting up fully. Serena nodded while munching on some food. "It a nine year old case about a family of seven found murdered in their home." she explained. "I know that case!" chimed Ruri. "Surprisingly the only survivor was a little boy around...eight? Anyways, the case was brought to trial and ended as a cold case because no new evidence was presented."
"That's awful" replied Yuzu.
"It gets wrose. Others say that the boy witness the whole thing and that he accused one of the officers...Officer Reiji Akaba" continued Rin. Yuzu gazed worryingly at Yuya. After lunch, Yuzu was determined to find answer regarding the cold case and Yuya Sakaki.
So with permission from the teacher and finishing her notes, she dash up stairs to the academy's library. When she got there, Yuzu quickly took her seat a one of the computers. "Time to get some answers" chuckled the pink haired girl as she fastly began typing. Yuzu spent about five or six hours in library. "Excuse me Ma'am. Dimensional Academy Library is about to close in a minute" informed the library assistant.
Sighing Yuzu turned to the assistant.
"Can I get an l other hour with the computer?" she pleased. The assistant sigh but nodded his head. Yuzu smiled and quickly went back to work. An hour later, Yuzu walked down the quiet and calm streets. It was dark outside but streetlights luminated her path. "With the time I spent in the library, I managed to get only 2 newspapers clips" Yuzu said sadly. "I guess Police Force is trying to keep it hush hush" she pondered.
Feeling tired, Yuzu stopped in front of a alleyway.
She took out her phone and began to text her brother. "Please! Spare me!" yelled a voice. Insane like laughter echoed through the alley which made Yuzu froze in place. Without thinking, Yuzu moved quietly into the alleyway and hid herself behind a trashcan. "Prepare to die" purred another voice. Yuzu slightly poked her head, "Wait...Is that?". Her blue eyes widen as she saw a certain tomato haired boy holding a gun to the man's face.
"Y-yuya!?" screamed Yuzu (mentally)
