The next morning, Yuzu and her sisters walked silently to school. Their walk continued to being silent until... "Any reason why you're wearing a sun-hat and sunglasses Yuzu?" questioned Serena finally. Yuzu was wearing her regular uniform with the addition of a large light yellow sun-hat and pink sunglasses. "I just want to look fashionable today" chuckled the pinkette.
Serena narrowed her green eyes before shaking her head. Yuzu sighed in relief thinking that Serena had finally drop the subject."Is it because of this Yuya person you were interested in yesterday?" teased Rin. Yuzu turned around and glared at her green haired sister with a small blush.
"No! It's not!"
Ruri started laughing and patted Yuzu's shoulder, "Come on girls. We gonna be late". The girls without delay started walking to school. Sooner or a later, Yuzu made it quietly to her 1st period without bumping into Yuya. She took off her sunglasses and walk inside but immediately froze when she spotted Yuya's tomato colored hair.
Yuya sat carelessly in seat with his blood red eyes glued to the board. He seemed to pay the girls around him no mind. This was just great for Yuzu. Not only was Yuya here and there were a girls around him too. Girls that can easily call her out I might add. The pink haired female began to stepped back already thinking about skipping 1st period. That is until she bumped into her teacher. Yuzu gazed up at her teacher who placed both hands on her shoulders.
"Okay everyone! Please take your seat!"
The teacher gently pushed Yuzu into classroom and walked over to her desk area. Yuzu pulled down her hat to make it shadow over her eyes. Taking a deep breath, she walked over to her seat and sat down. Surprisingly, 1st period went by quickly. No dead threats from Yuya, no burning stares, nothing!
2nd period went quickly and in a matter of minutes it was lunch period.
"Good thing I made my lunch before I left home" giggled Yuzu. Yuzu decided to eat on the roof and not with her sisters. Why? Well for one Yuya could be in the cafeteria and two he could try to hurt her sisters. Yuzu opened the door and froze again. Standing right there near the railing was Yuya.
"There you are Yuzu Hiiragi~" he purred
With his sadist smile and red orbs, Yuya was able to not only make Yuzu go pale but tremble in fear. In a swift move, Yuya grabbed Yuzu by the neck which made her dropped her lunch. Yuzu was then slammed into the wall.
"Gahh!!!" she squeaked
Yuzu looked at Yuya with widen blue eyes. His hand was around her throat making it hard for the pinkette to breathe. Yuya darkly smirked, he tighten his grip on Yuzu's neck making her gasp and croak for air. "Is this it? Am I going to die?" Yuzu thought. Her blue eyes started getting dull and her hands fell to side releasing the newpaper clip.
"Hm? What's this?" questioned Yuya
He loosen his grip on the pinkette's throat and pick up the paper. Yuzu gasped finally feeling air return to her lungs. Yuya read every word of the newclip. When he finished, his eyes went wide.
"H-hey! That's m-mine!" yelled Yuzu
Yuya crumbled the newclip and turned to Yuzu. He glared darkly at the female. Yuya moved his hand from her neck. "You shouldn't be getting involved in business that's not yours". Yuzu gazed at him confused. The tomato boy stuffed the paper in his coat pocket before walking away.
"Hey! Wait!" Yuzu lodged her for Yuya and immediately sieged his arm. "I need that paper back!" Yuya snapped his head toward Yuzu and pushed her away from him. Yuzu fell onto the ground. Her blue eyes glared up at Yuya. "This case is none of your business princess! Why are you interested in this case anyway!?" Yuya sneered.
"Because!...." Yuzu started
Yuzu glared down and bit her bottom lip. Her hands formed into a shakey fist. "Because I want to know if you're connected to the case! To confirm that you are the boy who survived!" Yuya's eyes widen again but quickly went back to coldness.
"Like I said, this case has nothing to do with you. So quit now" said Yuya turning away from Yuzu. "But I want to know too! I want to help!" Yuzu yelled this time she stood up. She wasn't going to back down. Not when she so close. Yuzu wanted to help Yuya. Make him stop his revenge streak and make the killer of his family face justice. Yuya looked back glared once more at the pinkette. Yuzu glared back no longer scared or intimidated by him.
Yuya turned around fully to face Yuzu but he wasn't glaring at her. His eyes were emotionless but serious. "Fine....I'll let you tag along. Don't drag me down" he informed. Yuzu beamed happily as she mentally high five her self. Yuya walked over her and handed her a paper. "Tomorrow is Saturday. So let's meet at my house." Yuya explained. Yuzu looked at the paper with the address. "Okay. Thanks for-" When Yuzu looked up, Yuya had left.
"He's....weird. Deadly but weird"
-Where Yuya's at-
Yuya walked down the hallway with his hands in his pockets. "Damnit first this girl finds out I'm the Phantom and now I have to take her with me!?" he complained. Yuya stopped and looked back.
"Is there something wrong Yuya?"
Yuya shooked his head and continued walking down the hallway. "It's nothing Yuto"
-Back to Yuzu-
The rest of the day went by fast. Yuzu and her sisters walked home in silence. Yuzu looked down at the concrete sidewalk. Tomorrow she and Yuya will be working together....A small blushed appear on her face at that thought.
"My quest begins tomorrow" thought Yuzu
The girls made to their house and went inside. Yuzu, tired from today's events went to bed early.
