Chapter 3~Off To A Bad Start

"Yuya!?" Yuzu screamed

           Right in front of Yuzu's blue eyes was indeed her new classmate but he didn't seem like the same boy she saw this morning. In fact, Yuya looked very sadistic and mostly very scary then quiet and carefree boy.  Yuya pulled the gun's trigger which made a loud ringing sound that echoed through the alleyway.

           Yuzu covered her ears and jolted up. She gently and quietly stepped backwards toward the entrance of the alleyway. Her hands slowly coming down to her sides and her blue eyes glued heavily on Yuya's back. "There you go Yuzu. Just keep it up and you'll be able to run home" Yuzu thought, trying to keep her mind calm. It's not everyday that you find your classmate killing a man and get struck between a murder scene. Once she finally made it back to the sidewalk, Yuzu scooped up her backpack and sprinted down the street. "Why was Yuya attacking that man? Could it be that-". Yuzu stopped mid way in her thought when a sudden gust of wind followed by a bullet whoosh right past her.

The pink haired female looked back to see, a tomato haired male running after her. Yuya's red eyes were very stern and almost seem to be glaring at her.

        Yuzu gasped loudly and pick up her pace. Now at full speed, she raced down the now eerie and dead quiet streets of Maiami City.Holding onto her backpack tightly,Yuzu darted into a convenience store. The blonde and teal haired manager gazed up the newspaper he was reading and eyed Yuzu oddly.

"Yuzu? What are you doing here? Especially this late" he questioned.

"Now's not the time to talk Kaito. Hide me!!!!!" Yuzu screamed

     Kaito sighed before motioning Yuzu to hide behind the counter. The pinkette immediately dove behind the counter and covered her mouth. A few seconds later, Yuya barged in causing Kaito to look up from his newspaper once again. "Welcome to Cipher's Food Mart. Can I help you with anything sir?" asked Kaito (Clearly irritated).

      Yuya's face went back to emotionless as he look at Kaito. "No" he answered. "I see. Well have a great night sir" said Kaito. Yuya nodded and shoved his hands into his pockets walking out of the store.

"He's gone" Kaito whispered.

       Yuzu poked her head out. She left out a reliving sigh before moving from behind the counter. Turning back to Kaito, a small thankful smile spread across her lips when remove her hand. "Thanks a lot Kaito. I owe you big time". "No problem....Why was he chasing you Yuzu?" Kaito asked. Yuzu laughed nervously and rubbed the back of her head, "He was probably a thug". Kaito quirked an eyebrow but decided not to go any further.

Meanwhile

        "Tch! I can't believe she got away. I guess I'll have to find her tomorrow" grumbled the tomato. Yuya finally reached his house and opened the solemn white doors of an huge white mansion.  "Welcome home young master" greeted a light blue haired butler. "Hey Sora" Yuya greeted back. He wasn't really in the mood for a chat. "I'm going to be in my room" informed the teen walking up the wide staircase.

"Yes young master" bowed Sora

        Once he was safely in his room, Yuya closed the door and plopped onto the bed. His red eyes gazed upward at the ceiling. Yuya let out a sigh and glanced out the window. "So close..." he mumbled. He yawned lightly before gently falling asleep.

Meanwhile

Yuzu made it back home thanks to Kaito. "Thanks again for bringing her home Kaito" replied Shun.

Kaito smiled, "No problem"

          After Kaito left, Yuzu and Shun had a talk which end off with Yuzu getting a warning. Once that was over, Yuzu walked up the stairs to her shared room. Yuzu's younger sister,Ruri, tackled her in a big bear hug when she came inside. "We were so worry about you Yuzu nee-chan!" she cried hugging her pink haired sister. "Ruri...I....I can't breathe" puffed out Yuzu. Serena and Rin strode up to them as well, wanting an answer. "Where were you?" asked Rin. "The library RinRin" Yuzu answered nervously. "Even I know that's a lie. The school's library opens at 9:30 a.m and closed 6:00 p.m with an extra hour for exceptions. Where were you really Yuzu?" asked Serena. "Well...." started Yuzu. "I...um I got ambushed my a thug but luckily survive his wrath". Serena narrowed her green eyes but shook her head. "I'm glad you're okay Yuzu" she said. "Me too" stated Rin. "Me three. Me three" added Ruri letting go of her. After that, Yuzu sighed and walked over to her bed. She plopped onto her bed and took out the two newspaper clips. "So close" Yuzu thought before drifting off to sleep...

Here's Chapter Three you guys and well it's crappy but a little bit longer then Chapter Two. The chapter will be where our two hero meet or something.
