Sapphires struggle

Problems..

"HOME NOW!" She screams.
Adam stands up and holds your arm
"I'm sorry m'am but sapphire will be staying with me"
Your mum with a horrified look on her dried up face.
"Sapphire" she yells," home now, we will talk about him when we get home. I bet you slept with him."
As sapphire starts to slowly walk towards her mum adam yet again grabs her arm and replies with a stern voice
" sapphires mum she will be staying with me, by the looks of things you will hurt her and if she does leave with you I will call the police. Let them see the burn on her arm here or the self harming cuts or what about the bruise on her shin knee and back."
Sapphire looks shocked -her thoughts- how does he know about them? Is he really standing up for me?
"Fine I will see you tomorrow sapphire and we will certainly have a talk then"
Sapphire nods and she falls into Adams arms crying. He holds her tight and he says "she won't hurt you and I notice you had a bruise on your shin and knee through your ripped jeans and the one on your back as you sat down on the bench your top came up just enough I noticed it." He looks into her tear lit eyes carries on " I know we just met but I'll give my father a call so we can go out for dinner somewhere of your choice and we can get to know each other"
She nods politely and adam pulls out his phone to an annoyed look on his face
She asks through tears "who's that?" As you see a few dozen messages from a what you assume is a girl called "love of my life" pop up on his phone
Adam looks at you with a concerned look "that's my ex as you can see it's a recent breakup due to the fact I haven't had the chance to change her name. She's been calling me trying to get me back she cheated on me and says she's knows I'm talking to you and she's out for you" he shows sapphire a picture of her if you see her" just walk away if I'm not with you, I don't want to get you hurt"
Sapphire throws on a fake smile and nods yet again
"Don't fake smile with me sapphire. Please I'll assure your safety, I will protect you through anything"
Her dried up red lips let out a little giggle as her cheeks got red and her eyes clear from the tears that stained her cheeks. He grabs her hand "common beautiful"
And as they walk back to his. Sapphire just smiles as he makes jokes and they talk about themselves and what they have in common.
