Sapphires struggle

The move

The next few weeks of her life were making friends doing chores and trying to stay as happy as possible. However there was always something there this shadow standing behind her like a demons holding her hostage. Some days it possessed her holding her in the depressed stage of her mind leading her to feelings of suicide and self inflicted pain. And the age of 15 he had little to no idea what was happening. She hid it well throwing on a mask of a smile and laugh. However if only someone looked at the hurt in her eyes. Soon they got told they'd found a nice place three bedroom flat in London where they could live. They took up on the offer however in the 2 months of moving things only escalated her mums drinking got worse and she'd have to stay round her friends. Moving from friends to friends she never really had a home life. She will always remember the day she went home to find glass and wine smashed on the floor and her mums hair a blondish Grey colour her mum looking lifeless and limp. She quickly cleans up the glass and runs the hover round and just as she does her mum awakes from her unconscious state and her eyes as yellow a hot summers day. Sapphire was in shock and immediately said she was going for a walk. As she did she stumbled across and boy a little bit older than her and he was walking a dog so she thought she could strike convention if she asked to stroke the dog. She started to walk over but as she did a wave of unsettling feels occurred her fingers started to tingle and her heart rate increased. She found a loss of breath and she has to sit down and as she started to walk away the boy turned around his long blond locks following behind him and as he called out
"Hey are you okay?"
She caries on walking just nodding. He runs to catch up with her, his dog following behind
"Are you sure you look a bit uneasy"
You stutter for words as you find your breath
"Y-yes I.. I don't know what happened"
He responded politely "it's okay it seemed like a panic attack"
" a panic attack?" You ask
" yes, a panic attack it's when you start to get worried or scared and you have shortness of breath usually some people cry some people have tingling sensation and most likely your heart rate will increase." He replies
"That's sounds about right" sapphire nodded in agreement
He smiles slightly as he asks for her name
" sapphire," she mumbled
"That's a beautiful name I'm adam"
She blushes,
"Thank you and nice to meet you"
And with that you are interrupted by a shouting of a familiar voice
"Sapphire you useless cow home now, who's that who the fuck are you talking to."
"Mum?!"...
