Billy glanced at the clock in his car as he drove to Veronica's house. He grinned to himself a bit seeing that was right on time. He pulled out into the front of the house, parking the car and getting out.

Veronica had just finished lacing her heeled boots up hearing Billy's car pull up she looked at the time surprised he wasn't late and a bit confused seeing as Hopper was never this late usually he would call or have one of the deputies call she brushed it off as she got up flattening out the end of her dress.

Billy got to the front door and knocked on it. He noticed Hopper's car wasn't in the front. Didn't the police station close around this time or some shit like that? He shook his head and focused back on the situation at hand. He straightened out a bit when Veronica opened the front door.

"I have to say I'm abit proud your actually on time" Veronica said turning the light out as she stepped out shutting the door behind her "you clean up nice pretty boy."

"It isn't for you, Cherry Bomb," Billy said rolling his eyes, but smirked. "Come on. lets get going before that place gets crowded." He wouldn't admit it out loud but he did clean up a bit for her. There was something about Veronica that attracted him more than any other chick he'd ever been with.

"Mhm keep telling yourself that playboy." Veronica narrowed her eyes at the comment but winked smirking a bit slipping past him walking down the steps to his car

"I will keep telling myself that. It's the truth. Just trying something new for once," Billy scoffed a bit and followed her to his car.

"You try something new? Without an ulterior motive? Please" Veronica scoffed and chuckled getting in the car buckling up

"You don't believe me? I'm quite hurt, Cherry Bomb. I had hope you would believe that I have good intentions for once." Billy looked over to her, starting his camaro back up and pulled away from the house, going a bit too fast down the street.

Veronica hummed in response sitting back in the seat "you aren't gonna let that nickname go are you?" She asked amusedly it did irritate her just a tad but it was tolerable.

"Are you going to let go of my nickname?' Billy retorted with a grin as he turned down the street that was surrounded by trees and looked a bit unsettling.

"Hmm probably not no not unless you give me a reason to let it go that is." she said coyly with a small smirk and shrugged

Billy pulled into the parking lot of the diner, "Then I guess I'm never letting go of your nickname. I'm paying by the way. I was the first to ask after all." He winked at her.

Veronica rolled her eyes and smiled "I figured it would be useless to fight on paying anyways, you're too stubborn" she said getting out

"And you're not?" Billy countered with a raised eyebrow and got out of the car as well. "I've heard stories about you, Red, you're not all what you make yourself out to be." he admitted.

"Oh yeah? That's wild I've heard quite the stories about you billy boy." Veronica said as she shut the car door walking to the front.

"Everyone has at this point," Billy shrugged, sounding unaffected by that. Which he was. People didn't know who he really was.

"Not like I believed them anyways everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise." She said looking over at him and shrugged swinging the door open walking inside

"Chances are its true," Billy followed her in and immediately they got suspicious looks from everyone in the restaurant that looked like it was from the 50s still.

"Yeah? Well what have you heard?" Veronica asked ignoring the stares nonchalantly as she walked over to a booth away from everyone sitting down

"You don't usually go on dates with anyone. You really only keep to yourself aside from the brat kids you hang around. Though I have heard you can be quite the party animal and flirtatious girl but you never give it up. I can already see that you are flirtatious but thats about it that I can make from you," Billy said before adding, "I can go on but that would take up my time to talk about me."
